A visit to a local park, amusement park, museum, zoo, lunch, sporting event, etc... Movies are not ideal as first dates because you don't have the opportunity to talk, and a very fancy restaurant also makes you feel you are under the spotlight (table manners, what to order etc.) It should not involve going out of town, a major dressy social event, meeting family members, or spending exorbitant amounts of money. But then again sometimes it's all or nothing ;)

I work and go to school full time; before that I was an active duty Marine for 5 years. I am 6ft 1 and built like a tank.
