New to the area, working for the State Health Dept.I'm prone to poking fun at everything, because being serious all the time is boring. And if you can't laugh at yourself, you're not living a very fun life. And what's the point of that?I'm a fan of being outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, camping... at least once things cool down some more. Otherwise, I figure I'll be checking out local restaurants to find good places for dinners out when I'm not cooking at home.I enjoy fiction, science fiction, and a good deal of classic literature. With a BA in English, I'm something of a literary nerd at times.I tend to stick to rock/metal and techno/trance music.I will try anything at least once, food wise, and love trying new restaurants.I'm generally finding something new (and often terrible) to watch on Netflix. I've recently gotten back into Big Bang Theory, now that I have cable.
