Easy going would best describe my personality, if your critical you need not apply for this position. I am looking for a smart, funny man who enjoys life. It is recommended that other members post a similar notice.We can really say whatever we want in this small box, but I believe it all boils down to how much real intimacy two people each need, are capable of giving, are capable of receiving, and do those depths match up?I think I've put my finger on what "chemistry" means to me.... my professional life is filled with very serious painful stories everyday......what my love life needs to be, is that place where we just smile and laugh and touch and tell interesting stories about important and unimportant stuff....a lot. I like people who are a mix of impulsive and calming. I love words. Chemistry is being with a man who knows how to help that happen. When 2 people fully show up, whether it's to tackle a problem, to share a meal, to take an adventure, to make love.......that's Chemistry.Here's why not to fall madly in love with me: I am crazy busy with a very intense life. My children and I have been through the Hell of battling and losing my husband to cancer. I do not have the luxury of a partner in parenting so I cannot count on my "free" time (drool). Men who are "simple" or avoidant always end up frustrated with me. OK I'm sure a huge amount of you have signed off by now....so what else? I'm passionate, affectionate, funny, and practice honesty as a never ending character builder. This means I don't lie, not even the so called "white" kind and expect the same in return. Cooking is my therapy making something new almost nightly (more intensive sessions occur with wine and Frank Sinatra added). I keep my circle small as I believe in giving a lot of attention to the people I love. I love the outdoors, my mental health is managed mostly with cycling, yoga and phone calls to my bestfriend and brother. I laugh really loud at the funny parts...(don't take me to a funny movie if you're easily embarrassed in public)!! I am the successful mother to two incredible young teens. As they require increasing independence it has the added benefit of freeing me up more and more. I get glimpses of the light at the end of a pretty long, fascinating tunnel, and I'm looking forward to cultivating the relationship that is for my future.

    My perfect guy would want to go hiking, camping, listening to outdoor concerts, wine tasting....aka wine drinking, enjoy socializing with each others friends and family, throwing a party for no special reason... I love to cook for my friends and family...so he would like to enjoy a nice home cooked meal...this includes onions and garlic...lol...no seriously..., going to the movies occassionally and just snuggling on the couch after a long day at work....I know this sounds like a lot to ask for, but, if this is your idea of living life then I think we should at least take a chance and say hi.... I think a first date should be getting a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or pitcher of beer some place not to loud or too quite, just in case there is that awkward silent moment...hahaha.
