Independent and professional woman and single mom with the 2 most amazing daughters ever ..... and just getting used to the idea of entering the dating scene again. A bit old-fashioned and often wish times could be as simple as they were when I grew up. I take my responsibilities very seriously but love a balanced life doing fun things with friends and family. I must admit I do spend alot of time at work and would love more free time and someone to share it with ....but I also am content with alone time (I have a Kindle and know how to use it...ha) and not looking to rush into anything blindly. I ENJOY being in a relationship, but I don't NEED to be in one to feel complete. Life is pretty good actually and I'd rather be happy alone than miserable with the wrong person.....And, it goes without saying, that my kids' best interests remain a priority. I adore them and am incredibly blessed to be their mom.....I often wonder just how I got to be so lucky......As far as partners go, I am looking for an honest, caring, giving and respectful man. Confidence is very appealing....self-centeredness is not. Intelligence is also attractive....."know-it-all" is not, nor is lacking the desire to learn. Laughter is a necessity since I love, love, love to laugh.....along with a great smile and a giving heart. And as cheesy as it may sound, nothing beats a man with honor, integrity, and one who lives his life backing up his words with actions........it simply doesn't get any better than that. Nice guys do NOT finish last in my book. I like a man who is comfortable in his own skin and knows how to treat women, children, animals and the elderly.....you can learn alot about a man watching him interact with each of them. I will admit to being a hopeless romantic and am a total sap for all the hand holding, sweet gestures, hugs and kisses, and tender moments that come with relationships. I like a man who looks directly into your eyes (you know, the whole "window into your soul" thing) and who will use them to tell you exactly how he's feeling without having to say a word. I would love to spend quality time with someone who is genuine, authentic, and not afraid of great conversation. I like to laugh, can be a bit sarcastic in my humor at times, but all in jest. I like to experience new places with people, but equally enjoy quiet time together at home, taking walks, and simply just being together cuddled on the couch watching a movie (or SEC football). Thunderstorms are a bonus for relaxing in front of the TV! I am affectionate and love doing special things for the special people in my life. I am loyal to a fault, a giver, very committed and trustworthy. I am not a 'serial' dater and never plan to be.....I believe it is the little things in life that make us the happiest and I'm looking for a confident, grounded, witty, fun-loving Christian man to share in these moments. I hope to find a best friend.....a great communicator....someone who is affectionate, smart, fun, and appreciates all I have to offer.....which is alot....:-) I am a sweet southern gal, through and through, and know how to treat people well. I can dress up for a night on the town, converse with CXO's at any level, but am most in my element in comfy clothes living normal, laid-back, everyday life. I have been richly blessed with faith, family and friends and hope to grow old (ahem, OLDER) with someone special to walk alongside me in this journey...     I LOVE to dance. I LOVE to laugh.
