About Me

I am a pretty independent woman, I guess that is true only because I have had to be. Not a bad thing.....but MAN I am exhausted! Relationships are never a waste of time - more a learning experience that helps you grow into who you are. I would love to find a man that wants to be happy and is currently in love with themselves. Obviously not in a narcissistic way - however, you have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. I am a junior high teacher and live a pretty busy life September - June. We teachers work for those few months off. However - I like to get out now and again and the weekends are for spending time with special people that fill your bucket back up to the top! I am looking for a partner that I can enjoy spending quality time with - someone that is spontaneous and a good playmate. I am open to someone that has kids - I do not have any of my own, but that was not because I did not want children - I just did not force the issue. So here I am with hundreds of kids that I work with every day *** love my pets and hope to find someone that is accepting and loving - my dog is a good judge of character...so beware! :-)I enjoy staying active and try to stay fit and healthy. I am looking for someone that would like to do the same. I enjoy biking, boating, running, volleyball, riding "bi*%h" on the back of a motorcycle, hiking, etc. I also like dressing up and going someplace special - dinner, the theater, nice restaurant, dancing .....but then I like dressing down and heading to the local tav for a burger, beer and a game of pool. I have a great group of lifelong friends that mean the world to me and I am blessed with a large family. For now, I think that is enough. If any or all of this is interesting to you... let me know! My youngest is 21 and will be going into his Junior year of college and was in July. I have #'s 12, 13, & 14 grandbabies on the way; yes there are a lot of grands but once they got started giving me grands, they all joined in all at once ha! I'm very blessed to have the family I have! The very best first date I ever had was going to the lake, cooking out, and swimming. I've had only one good experience on this site and frankly I've been hesitant about coming back. I am still friends with that one good experience. I enjoy a laid back first date where we can talk and not a lot of loud noises where we can't hear each other to talk.
