Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 43-53
Hi! Looking for someone to get to know starting slow. Dating! What a concept! I am open to a relationship but that starts with getting to know someone... Here's me:"Woman. mid-40s (looks younger, thanks mom and dad). Wants to meet attractive, fit, tall-er than me - single man, somewhere between mid to late thirties, into late forties, early fifties? (is that range wide enough?lol). Funny, has his stuff together. Go out on a date, have a drink, see how things go. . I look for a visceral(and lets face it- visual) reaction to a persons profile- that's what I'm looking for-and I'm quite content to go a long time to wait for what I'm after. I have alot of interests and keep busy with them In addition to my job which has me travelling often. Im independent and ideally you are as well..I'm all about quality time vs quantity. Gym, interior design. Drawing and painting, and travel are all passions--loved it-. Lots of the world to see...a partner to do that with would be fantastic. If you're looking for a FWB, hookup or some such thing- That's not what I'm looking for. Intimacy is something I look forward to-with someone I have the intention of seeing again:)I SINCERELY wish the best to all but will only respond to those I see potential click with. also just a note -I use an iPhone to log in here -and it keeps you logged in all day so it may look like I'm online when I'm actually not! First date is something casual, drink, coffee, get to know one another. Skydiving and Poetry recital comes later.

In general, I am a very fun, happy, self-aware, and content person.I am very close to my family, cherish and nurture my few intimate friendships diligently and carefully, and believe that kindness and compassion are the most important things in any human interaction.I love my job (teaching) because I get to learn something new everyday, interacting with college students keeps me young and informed, I make a difference in the world, and I get to laugh at myself and others just about every day.I have had my share of wonderful and disastrous relationships, but I still believe in happiness. The most important thing I have learned is to be flexible and that nobody is perfect (including me). I want my partner to eventually be my best friend and confidant and want someone in my life with whom I can talk for hours or be comfortable with in total silence. My two most valuable possessions are my camera and my kayak. If I had to give up teaching, I would be content to be a kayaking photographer who sometimes jumped off the water to go hiking or biking.I love to travel but I'm also a homebody. I have been lucky enough to live in France, spend extensive time in the Caribbean, visit my brother in Thailand, and visit ***of the American states. Depends on the weather!Cold weather... nice warm meal at a mom-and-pop or kitschy restaurant. Someplace with character and unique foodWarm weather... walk in the woods or a mellow kayak float. Picnic. Talking, getting to know each other.Hot weather... museum or local activity like live music. Nothing too loud so we can hear each, but something fun we can talk about. And then there are always wineries... good for any weather!
