I am a very positive outgoing person by nature. Finding reasons to smile and laugh come very easily for me. I am a nurturer by nature and put others before myself. I LOVE to be spontaneous, but also balance responsibilities very well.The tendency to act from my heart is a natural ***, Music is a huge passion of mine and normally prefer smaller venues, cafe's etc. My music interests cover a wide span. If I had to list my top choices they would be Country, R&B, Standards, some Classic Rock even, but I also like to venture out past those and explore varieties. One thing I would have to pass on is Rap.Taking a road trip anywhere - even just for a long drive is wonderful! I enjoy just as much, watching TV/movies, trying new recipes ( I've given up on grilling though - that is certainly not a talent of mine), being outdoors as much as possible. There are very few things I would prefer not to try - except skydive! I am a" why not" person. Many people ask why, and I will most always answer with why not? I really like sports, and football days - watch out - ha! I always make time for the person I am with - first and foremost. Don't be surprised if you find a single rose on your windshield! It's very important to know someones likes and dislikes. I do not like to argue, but rather talk things out - seriously! Another topic is I don't dwell in the past. Sure, I will talk about my past experiences, but they don't always have to be in a negative tone. I prefer to learn from them and just let it go when possible. I've noticed two things in writing my description. I haven't mentioned what I'm looking for. I believe it is the same as many on here. A good, honest, trustworthy, compassionate person with a big heart. My dislikes? I would have to say a full-time couch potato, cynical, argumentative, and negative attitude. My interests below? There's no way I could list them all. The phrase easy going is used so much, but I can't emphasize enough how truly easy it is to make me laugh. I know I haven't included everything in here, but hopefully this gives a general idea of who I am. If you have any questions I truly am an open book. I know this is very long, and thank you for taking the time to read this all the way through - Ha! Oh, one more. Has anyone had problems with their profile changing without your permission? For a first date I am comfortable in many settings, and I would want them to be as well. Whether it be a restaurant, cafe, coffeehouse, park, and many many more. Conversation is more important than the where for me. I do believe going to a movie initially is not the best of choice. An add on later in the evening can be fun though! For a first date I think two people should decide together on what is most comfortable and appealing for each. It should feel more like meeting a new friend, than an interview for applying for a job - just have fun!

Meeting for a drink is fine, I guess...but I much prefer we take our drinks and go for a walk. Or let's go bowling, or a batting cage or get dinner and go eat down by the water.... I guess I'm saying I prefer to skip the awkward - dead silence lack of conversation stage. Haha ...

    Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My pictures are from ***, by the way. I'm a tomboy and a girlie girl. A city girl and a up north girl. I'm artsy and outdoorsy, all in one bundle! One thing I'm not is a busty ditzy blonde, nor would I want to be. I can hold my own in a conversation and dress up and feel comfortable in a fancy restaurant, but I can wear jeans and go catch turtles and bait my own hook and take my own fish off the line too. Outdoor activities are my passion, love going north, camping, downhill skiing especially at night when the snow is falling, mountain biking the woods, snowmobiling during a blizzard, camping and being entranced by the crying coyotes nearby while tending to the campfire.     My daughter is an elite athlete and is attending college in the States. Her number 1 fan is not liking the empty nest.
