It's been way too long since I've had anyone to chill and play backgammon or ***Rummy with. Wanna play? In general, I'm a very happy and playful person. I can kick back, lounge around and be mellow, but I also like to get up an go. I love music, and have taken a few guitar lessons, but due to my apparent lack of self-discipline in practicing, it appears that my guitar-playing skills are going to progress verrrrry slowly. I'm a good listener though (to both music and to people in general). In music, I love lyrics.; BAD (old school). These are just a few off the top of my head - there are so many amazing artists out there and I like a wide variety of them. I've never been married, no children. Committment issues? Hmmmmm. I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years now and am amazed and amused by what I'm still learning from it. I'm doing a little volunteer work with it as well these days with a non-profit called Living Yoga: http://living-yoga.org/I'm a very fair weather outdoors gal, and enjoy riding my bike a lot in the summer; it's a 7-speed cruiser, so nothing too crazy.-assed). I love animals, and I do worry about the environment. I have a car, but I definitely "plan trips" and try to use public transportation on a regular basis. Been here 11.5 years and still not tired of the clouds and rain - they're peaceful to me. Seriously? I'd like to sit down at a bar, perhaps an outdoor patio, with a deck of cards or a backgammon board and play a few games. I'm not kidding! Plenty of time to chat and have a beverage or two while we play.
