You + Me could = WeI like religions of all kinds, I like the supernatural stuff, ghosts, spiritualism, tree hugging. I also like learning about the universe and its creation, (quatum physics). I like philosophical conversations and I like people watching and analysing mass conditioning...... Some of my friends are pagans. (get a dictionary if you need one) These people are my friends and always will be. Some of my friends are in same sex marriages. (I support loving relationships). Other interests involve book reading, and watching movies, learning new things. Love documentaries. (yep, i'm the weird kid in class that actually paid attention to "a peoples history" ) I was doing prokick for years and I absolutely miss it, been doing martial arts for over 10 yrs. Can't seem to find anything else as enjoyable, not doing too much right now. (a little yoga, basic gym stuff).I have a good job, a wonderful son. Lots of friends who care about me, as I do them. I enjoy sharing good times with the people I love, BBQs, wine on a patio, ufc at a pub, traveling, going out dancing, laughing, - just enjoying life and meeting people.Life is good... However, I'm missing something very important. I'm missing a partner, a best friend. Someone to dream with, to live life with. The first word people always use to describe me is funny. I have a knack for seeing the absurd in the mundane. I've learned that life is too short to blow a gasket when you can laugh at most annoyances. Not that I don't take serious things seriously, but I do try to maintain a balanced outlook. Besides laughing counts as exercise doesn't it?I've been a major bookworm from the time I was a wee wormette. In fact, I love most things artistic. I regularly attend the orchestra, opera and ballet. I consider wandering around museums and galleries time well spent; especially when I learn something new and get the souvenir magnet to prove it. And I admit my two vices are caffeine and the NY Times crossword. If I can combine the two, it's heaven on earth.Fear not though, I'm not some snooty culture snob. I also enjoy going to movies; everything from big budget blockbusters, to sci-fi and mysteries, to film festivals and scary (not mindless slasher) horror films. I think Gru's minions are adorable and wish I had a few around the house. I think kayaking and canoeing are great fun. My newest interest is stand up paddle boarding and it's a blast. Pool and golf are wonderful for hanging out with friends, which is good because I'm terrible at both. I also like walking along the canal and the river in all the seasons.Although I'm currently single, I'm mainly on this site to expand my circle of friends. Not that I'm averse to developing a relationship but for me those always work best when you are friends to begin with. If you share some of the same interests, drop me a line.
