About Me

I would not consider writing things about myself my strong point but here goes.....I am a very active, happy go lucky kind of girl! Friends would describe me as a loyal, trustworthy, fun, caring person. I believe in living life to it's fullest. I always look at the glass half full not half empty. I have a sense of humor and I am looking for someone with the same attribute. I believe that being financially secure is important and I work hard to maintain that. I am ambitious and I am always looking for ways to better myself. I love my job (I teach 2nd grade) but I don't let it take over my life. I work to live not live to work. I believe that family and friends are the most important things in life not things. I am looking for someone who is a good communicator, has a good sense of humor, is ambitious, loving, compassionate, intimate and optimistic. I am a true romantic at heart and would love to find someone that will appreciate this quality. Someone who enjoys children but yet also enjoys our alone time together. (I have 2 children, ***and in college and ***starting high school in the fall) I am looking for a best friend. Someone I can share my hopes and dreams with as well as my joys and sorrows. A soft place to fall when I need to and I would like to be that for someone as well. I love to travel. The beach is one of my favorite places especially SC beaches.I am a SC girl and a loyal Gamecock fan! I love going out but also enjoy a quiet evening at home. I enjoy movies, the theater, museums, concerts, a day by the pool or the lake and ball games. I enjoy going to baseball, football , basketball and hockey games. I enjoy wine tastings , a cold beer on a hot day or margaritas with chips and salsa. I love entertaining friends at my home . I love reading, walking/running, dancing, and bike riding. One of the things on my bucket list is to skydive. I think to sum it all up..I am easy to please and will try just about anything once.Life really is meant to be enjoyed and not to be taken so seriously all the time.
