How it all works for me:On line meeting/dating is harder and anyone would imagine.I compare it to meeting your Mother’s next door neighbour’s newly divorced cousin.Remember when she would drag out a picture at the kitchen table and tell you how great he is? Only to find out he actually still lives with his Mother.It would be wonderful to meet at a party or b’bque and share glances from across the room and ask your host if they were married or in a relationship. To finally get up the courage to talk to them and casually look down to see if they were wearing a ring. To think about them when you get home if the conversation went well.That rarely happens today. Life, love and relationships are too complicated.So, we all find ourselves here.If we do connect with pictures and e-mails from there I do ‘walk and talk’. We would meet at a neutral public location for a 15 minute walk and see if we would like to continue into a nice place for a drink.That would be it for ‘first meet’.
