I am an independent, hardworking, financially responsible, physically fit single mom. With that said I still have old fashioned values. Yes, I love if a man opens my door! I am very ready to let someone in my life. Timing is perfect for me. It should be for my mate too! I work very hard at all aspects of my life; my job, my inner and outer beauty, my kids and my friends. I like to have alot of fun too. Very sick of the bar scene. As much as I love to go out dancing, having a few drinks, etc. I love to do other things such as going into NYC, riding my bike, going to concerts, trying new things and meeting new people. I would love to join a sports league of some kind. I don't watch TV except for football! I am an avid reader. I also am very spiritual. I don't believe children are baggage and either should you! I believe they are an asset to any relationship. I have raised awesome kids who are grown. I do have a 11 year old boy who is the love of my life. If the time comes, I love the idea of doing things with our families and friends. I am all about spending time with your family and mine!My ideal mate should be driven, yet easy going, take care of himself but not be obsessed with his body, like to have fun but be very responsible, financially secure and most importantly understand that a great relationship takes effort, time, patience, compromise, communication, lots of affection and chemistry. I am all about family and friends. I love to entertain. I am not into head games or drama. I am a very positive person who looks at the good in all situations. I hope you do too! None of us are perfect but it is so hard to start a relationship when there are too many unresolved issues.Somethings I want to do with my partner.....learn to play golf, go to sports events, join a coed sports team, travel, wine tasting, walking around the city, see an Opera (come one at least I didn't say shopping), and mostly spending time together being brutally honest about where we are in life and where we are headed while we are snuggled up next to each other. I believe the first date should be very comfortable in a public place. The next date will be the fun one!     I am looking for a Christian friend, then if it leads to more, then that is great! I think honesty is vital to any relationship! I say, "Hurt me with the truth, but don't lie to me." I think it's especially important to start as friends when you meet online. You have to be friends before you can have any kind of meaningful relationship. I do not do drama much at all. If your life is full of drama, you might as well move on! I won't tell you that I never have drama, but it isn't a regular occurrence in my home/life. I enjoy scrapbooking, taking pictures, going for walks, picnics, listening to music, playing games, spending time with friends and family. I like going to state parks and places like that. I enjoy going and doing different things.
