I am a happy person. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and meeting new people. I love to travel. The beach is one of my favorite places. The things that make me the proudest are my 3 children who are becoming the most amazing adults. I have a 24 year old son who graduated college and just purchased his own home, a 22 year old daughter that will graduate college in the fall and a 16 year old daughter that will be a junior in high school. I try to spend time with them when I can but they are all out finding their way in this crazy world.I do not try to be someone I'm not. "It is what It is" ..... one of my favorite sayings. All I want is to know the real person you are. If you have too many secrets, do not even bother. I am not perfect and do not expect anyone else to be... if we were, we wouldn't be fishing, right? Trust me.... I can handle the TRUTH!!! better to be honest then get caught in a lie. I do not forget easy. I like trying new things and seeing new places. I do not like negative people.     I've come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as an "ideal" match. What I hope to someday find ***, is Mr. "Right for ME"! I guess you can say that is one way of "describing" "me"... to say that I'm a realist. Sure we can drum up an image in our minds of what a fantasy partner would be but in reality rarely does that come to pass. I would be willing to do almost anything on a first date and have....oh wait! Maybe I should qualify that... that could definitely be interpreted the wrong way! I am not a fan of going for a drink. It's funny, but there are a lot of people who prefer to do that thinking if you don't connect with a person it is short and sweet and you can go your seperate ways quickly. I am not a big drinker and I find that it can be very ackward sitting across from someone staring at them with nothing to say and nothing to distract us. On the other hand, if you partake in an activity/event, there is something that takes the focus/tension off of the two people, should it come to that.I enjoy going to a movie, going to a sporting event, art festival, any outdoor event going on around town... I've even gone to the gym on a first date! So make a suggestion... I'll look forward to hearing from you!
