I didn't want to do this, but a friend talked me into it, so here I am...stepping out into the boat and making my first cast out into the online sea of fish. And for once, I'm totally at a loss to know what kinda lure to use lol :PABOUT ME: I'm a happy go lucky girl that is blessed and grateful to have worked hard to achieve pretty much everything in life that I've ever dreamed of. I'm just missing the cheese to my macaroni (bonus if you know what movie this is from); a companion who can commit to enjoying this ride called life with me. I will say up front that I'm so much more than meets the eye and will give you a run for your money activity wise lol. I am very laid back, have a huge heart, am extremely loving, and am a unique combination of a tomboy and a lady. I dress for the occasion, but on average, I wear very little to no makeup (I'm told this suits me) and am perfectly comfortable in a tshirt and jeans or stilettos and an evening gown.Indoors, I enjoy reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing brain games (logic puzzles, sudokus, crosswords, etc.), video games and watching sports. If you LOVE sports and really enjoy spending Sundays watching the NFL ticket and keeping up with your fantasy team, we are definitely going to get along. One of my bucket list items is to go see a game at every NFL and MLB stadium. I have plenty of stadiums left to see and would love to share that with a guy that would appreciate that type of thing.I enjoy being outdoors too biking, hiking, fishing, shooting, and going to concerts (and so much more). My music taste ranges from country, top 40, metal, to rap and I even play classical music (flute) and I love to dance. If you can drive a boat you get bonus points!! :D ABOUT YOU: I am looking for an unselfish man of integrity that knows how to prioritize and treat a woman with the love, common courtesy and respect that she deserves. He knows what he wants, is honest and true to his word, is willing to commit (if it comes to that), and doesn't cheat or play mind games. I need a kind-hearted man that is emotionally intelligent, is confident in who he is, loves to laugh and play and would be proud to have a girl like me that: enjoys many of the same activities, is intelligent, owns my home and car and makes a good living. Ideally, my match would enjoy spontaneous (or planned) traveling...whether it be day trips to museums or historic sites, weekend trips to the beach, lake, mountains, or awesome vacations to go see some of the many wonders of the world. He would also enjoy evenings in cooking dinner, sipping beverages of choice and just spending some time together watching our favorite tv shows, movies, snuggling and chatting. A sports fan would be a bonus. I would be blessed to find a guy that values family (and wants to build a strong one) and understands that his companionship, love, and willingness to play don't cost a thing, but they are are priceless in my eyes. They say the best way to describe yourself is 'what would your best friend say about you?' So I asked them and they said: intelligent, funny, sarcastic, stubborn, ecclectic, fiercely loyal, caring and compassionate almost to a fault, strong, and independent. I would say that's pretty accurate. My daughter is almost 17 and is the light of my life and my number one priority. But she is at that age where she has her own things going on and I've found that when I have my own things going on, I'm a much better mom.I love all kinds of music (my iTunes is huge and a bit schizophrenic), I like movies (mostly comedies, action and psychological thrillers), I love doing random, silly things and totally not acting my age, spending time with friends and family and being outside when the weather is nice. I don't hunt or fish. If you do, awesome! If you don't ask me to sit in a boat and bait your hook, I won't ask you to go to a shoe sale and hold my purse. :-) Everyone should have their separate interests and hobbies that are just for them. I am looking for the same things most people are looking for: honesty, loyalty, caring, compassion, chemistry. It is nice to be needed but to be wanted is amazing. Hello! Hope life is treating you well. I'm gonna keep this as short and sweet as I can. I love a guy with a great sense of humour. Laughter IS the best medicine. (If you're not a fan of sarcasm, we may not get along fantastically). The most attractive thing about any guy is self-confidence. Of course, there is that fine line that can sometimes be crossed, but in general, be confident.......it's sexy!! I love to travel and would love to find someone who wants to travel with me. I'm a Rider fan. Love watching football, and love it even more when I can go to the games. That will be a big part of my summer and fall, being that I actually got myself some season tickets this year. (And, I also scooped up some Grey Cup tickets!) I'm not a fan of talking dirty on here, so if that's something that you are interested in, my skills will disappoint you. I recently went back to college and changed careers. I was a hairstylist for 20 years, owning my own business for 10 of those. I do not have children, but would not be opposed to getting to know someone who does. Another interest that I have is acting. I was lucky enough to be a part of a production that travelled all over the province for six years, and I loved it. On a more realistic scale, if I have the time, I would love to join a theatre group in Saskatoon. A few more random facts about myself might include......... I know how to check the oil in my car, and I can fix almost anything with duct tape! (You can thank my father for these skills!) I enjoy camping and being outdoors. Tried fishing for the first time last year, and I have to say, I kind of enjoyed it. I enjoy a wide range of music.......but 80s is probably my favourite go to!........ Both small town living and city life have their advantages. I'm enjoying being back in Saskatoon after being away for the last 10 years. I still have a few things I really want to do. I guess you could say they are on my Bucket List. I would love to try Stock Car racing, I really want to learn Spanish, and I would also love to learn to play drums. Happy Fishing guys!! Surprize me!!
