They say the best way to describe yourself is 'what would your best friend say about you?' So I asked them and they said: intelligent, funny, sarcastic, stubborn, ecclectic, fiercely loyal, caring and compassionate almost to a fault, strong, and independent. I would say that's pretty accurate. My daughter is almost 17 and is the light of my life and my number one priority. But she is at that age where she has her own things going on and I've found that when I have my own things going on, I'm a much better mom.I love all kinds of music (my iTunes is huge and a bit schizophrenic), I like movies (mostly comedies, action and psychological thrillers), I love doing random, silly things and totally not acting my age, spending time with friends and family and being outside when the weather is nice. I don't hunt or fish. If you do, awesome! If you don't ask me to sit in a boat and bait your hook, I won't ask you to go to a shoe sale and hold my purse. :-) Everyone should have their separate interests and hobbies that are just for them. I am looking for the same things most people are looking for: honesty, loyalty, caring, compassion, chemistry. It is nice to be needed but to be wanted is amazing. But there are those little things that you just can't quite put your finger on.....those are the best things.I could ramble on some more but probably shouldn't. :-)If there is anything you would like to know, feel free to ask!

I believe many of the best things in life are made better when shared so I'd love to find that person for me. Open-mindedness, kindness, creativity, and intelligence are all traits I share with those in my life. I consider myself down-to-earth, spiritual but not religious, sports-loving, and comfortable at home and out in the world. I'm hoping to find someone to make me laugh and be both silly and serious with, someone who loves to plan but still lives life in the moment, high tech but old-school, and someone who is a fellow lover of words and books would be a bonus. I love the commentary of Charles Barkley and the humor of Eddie Izzard. My two favorite shows are The Big Bang Theory and The Walking Dead.
