Life is sooo much easier if you laugh a lot, so I'd have to meet someone who makes me laugh, because looks eventually fade, but the laughter shouldn't. I enjoy adventure ~ especially overseas travel and I like to think of myself as a life long learner. Could hardly go a day without music...go days without turning on the TV, though.; I missed the Rockies & my friends and family. Finally starting to work again...phew! Quite the process these state-to-state moves.....and knowing that there is always another day when this day doesn't seem so lovely. Perspective is everything! A walk... Meet for coffee? Surprise me :O) The whole "tech/internet reach" ...things are so much more sped up than they used to be...is that a good or bad thing????

They say the best way to describe yourself is 'what would your best friend say about you?' So I asked them and they said: intelligent, funny, sarcastic, stubborn, ecclectic, fiercely loyal, caring and compassionate almost to a fault, strong, and independent. I would say that's pretty accurate. My daughter is almost 17 and is the light of my life and my number one priority. But she is at that age where she has her own things going on and I've found that when I have my own things going on, I'm a much better mom.I love all kinds of music (my iTunes is huge and a bit schizophrenic), I like movies (mostly comedies, action and psychological thrillers), I love doing random, silly things and totally not acting my age, spending time with friends and family and being outside when the weather is nice. I don't hunt or fish. If you do, awesome! If you don't ask me to sit in a boat and bait your hook, I won't ask you to go to a shoe sale and hold my purse. :-) Everyone should have their separate interests and hobbies that are just for them. I am looking for the same things most people are looking for: honesty, loyalty, caring, compassion, chemistry. It is nice to be needed but to be wanted is amazing. But there are those little things that you just can't quite put your finger on.....those are the best things.I could ramble on some more but probably shouldn't. :-)If there is anything you would like to know, feel free to ask!

I am genuine, outgoing, and love to smile and laugh. I can be a complete goof, but also have a serious enough side that seems to attract people telling me some of their deepest secrets or problems. I am honored when people put their trust in me, and I take that trust seriously. I would describe myself physically as kind of athletically curvy - if there is such a thing! I am easy going and open minded, and would like to find someone of a similar mindset. I love to golf, cook, travel, spend time at the lake - (camping or cabin life). I don't have kids, but I love having them in my life (and they seem to like me!)...it just didn't happen for me. My dog is a big part of my life...she has been a solid companion through good and not so good times. I return the favor by being dog's best friend. Not a crazy dog lady - just someone who recognizes that I am her world. Obviously a dog person, but also grew up with horses and a veritable 'arc' of animals, and so have a huge appreciation for animals in general. Giving back to our community is important to me - I do it in my daily job, as well as in volunteer capacities. I am creative, and enjoy photography, travel, drives, watching planes at the airport, ski boats, sailboats - anything near water Except my golf ball); mornings at the farmers market with a good coffee, hockey/football games, or going to see a movie or a play at MTC. As fas as music... my radio is often set to 103, 106, ***& CBC...- pretty much everything except heavy metal...and even that has its little place. I am a positive person, who appreciates the little things in life... the smell of the rain, the sound of the leaves in the wind, comforts of home, spending time with friends. Integrity is important to me, as is communication, and thoughtfulness. I can be the life of a room, but also very much so appreciate quiet times and some solitude. I have an incredibly full life, but it is missing sharing part of it with someone special. I would say what makes me stand out it is my smile, laugh and outgoing personality. I will talk to anyone - from street people to CEOs. We are all people and deserve respect! When you get to know me, you would find that I would do anything for those who are close to me. I am very affectionate, and enjoy close and meaningful relationships .As far as my expectations: I am looking to meet someone to get to know, and have fun... from there we see what happens! I may send you a message commenting on something that strikes me as interesting, I am not afraid to tell you! I would love to meet someone who has a positive outlook, and sees their beer stein as half full! The one thing I don't really understand is why so many guys have pictures where they look slightly 'mean' or possibly incarcerated ;) Just not what I am looking for!! Smiles everyone, smiles. Cheers! Depending on the season/mutual interests, I imagine a coffee/tea date would be nice - or meeting for a drink, or a casual dinner, walk in a park, movie, bowling or whatever works! I am pretty easy going and often willing to try anything new!
