About Me

Who am I? I am a mother, a daughter, a good friend, but most of all I am Lori. My daughters are the most important thing in my life, it has been such a gift to raise them and watch them grow into such beautiful women. Now that they are grown it is time for me. I enjoy spending time with friends and family doing most anything. I like walks in the woods and bike riding, and finding that next adventure. I take my job serious and work hard, but make time to play just as hard. I also enjoy my quiet time and keeping things simple. I love someone who can make me laugh till I cry but also enjoy being able to have a serious conversation, where listening comes from both sides. We all have different opinions and I respect that and hope to get the same respect in return. What am I looking for? I don't want to walk behind someone or in front of them but to be by their side and have my hand held, I find that so comforting. That someone that can make me smile with just his smile, sometimes words are not needed. At times I am a bit quirky and things don't always come out of my mouth like I plan, I laugh out loud, and I love a good joke, and tend to startle easily. I look for someone who is playful and isn't afraid to act like kids once in awhile. Sometimes I may appear a bit rough around the edges but once you get to know me you realize I wear my heart on my sleeve, and am delicate, and yes, at times you may see me sniffling at a commercial. I look for that person to share myself with, the one who is happy with just who I am. At this point in life I am me and that I will not change nor do I want anyone to change for me.I do not believe in regrets as life experiences and lessons are what have made me who I am today. I have learned life is short through the lost of loved ones and I try to live my life for each new day, we only get one chance at life so I'm going to enjoy it.     I had this at the bottom of my profile but I don't think of a lot of guys actually read all the way to the end, so here it is, at the top...I hate to be superficial, but as a tall woman if you're not at least 5'11" we probably won't be anything more than friends, and I generally don't converse with anybody that doesn't have a photo...sorry!About me: I like to travel, garden, watch live bands, eat out (especially on a patio somewhere), sing, read, shop, take road trips to nowhere in particular to explore little towns and stop in all the local dive bars, or hit up a local festival.
