I am looking for a long-lasting relationship. Not dating around, not multiple guys on the hook, not a hook-up. I want a connection, chemistry and compatibility in one relationship. I’m aging and it shows, but that’s not a free pass to quit caring about my health and appearance. I feel good about who I am right now. I’d like a similar attitude in my partner. You don’t have to be a triathlete, just practice healthy living habits.Both my kids are still living with me. My daughter is 20 and my son is 15. So, I’m still very committed to being a good mom, (and I find it really attractive if you’re into being a dad) but as they’ve gotten older I find myself with more time available to develop a social life…yay! :) I just rewarded myself with a birthday vacation in Vegas and loved it! (Posted some pics to my profile.) I want to do more traveling, but have always felt like the kids or the home should come first. I see that changing a lot in the next few years. I say this so you know I have time for you and that I want to make room in my life for the right man. I realize I can’t get a complete picture of who you are from a few paragraphs and some pictures, but I’m probably not going to respond to a guy who only posts one pic and doesn’t take the time to write more than, “Hit me up if you wanna know the rest.” C’mon…you have to at least try!There’s a lot more to me than what I’ve written here so please don’t think you know me just yet. I think the first date is actually the second date. I mean, really, the first time you get together it's usually for coffee or a drink. Does that count? I think a date is when you actually make a plan to do something together...like take a drive with no destination on a misty autumn morning when the sun is still trying to break through with a hot mocha in my hand, music in my ears, my hand on my guys thigh. Ever feel unsure about creating one of these profiles? That is where I am at right now, not sure if the timing is right but unable to quell that hopefulness that comes with putting yourself out there and letting the universe lead you. I'm the type of woman men are always stating they are looking for: fun, vivacious, creative, smart, supportive, caring and more. Some have called me attractive, some have said I wasn't their type but enjoyed talking to me. Cest la ve. But for the time being all this awesome is wrapped in a larger package, it's still an attractive, bubbly, fun package just bigger than some like and that's okay. I work for the Feds and love it, have an awesome view of the Sound from my desk and get to hang out with friends at lunch so I have no complaints there. Although to grow my career I will have to look at other agencies, but in due time. I am on the downslope of recovering from a nasty broken ankle that took me out of commission for about half a year, now I am getting back into shape by starting a ***Day Challenge that I'm really excited about but limits my socializing to activity based outings and not food based.I am a science fiction geek and love playing games, board and card games especially. I go to Emerald City Comicon every year, it is so much fun!I love my bicycle and am starting an organic container garden this year. My babies are getting so big already! I paint, write and create jewelry when I can, although my days are filled with soil, pots and battling squirrels over turf right now. Reading > TV although I am hooked on Game of Thrones and Dr. Who.I like Desi, Asian and Latino boys best but like to keep options open. Smart, funny, geeky helps; we need to talk about stuff and I don't follow celebrity gossip or inane subjects like that. I am looking for someone who can accept me as I am now but will be supportive as I start running him ragged as the ankle gets stronger and I slim down. I would prefer local, but am open to someone else in the US if he is able to meet and spend time. I'm not looking for online romance, I want to be able to caress a cheek and share a laugh in person.
