Are you're looking for an honest woman? Someone who won't lie to you, play games, cheat, be crazy, do drugs, whine, pout and fight? Well, I'm the one that will restore your faith in love and in women. I keep hearing men talk about some of the women they've dated and it just shocks me. I love to laugh and make others laugh, I enjoy good conversation, travelling, reading, jazz music, art, stand up comedy and many other interests. I treat my boyfriends well - I tend to look for the good in each person and am extremely understanding. I give the benefit of the doubt and seek to understand the reason behind behaviors and prefer to talk things out rather than jump to conclusions and fly off the handle. I'm seeking a man that is down-to-earth, kind, considerate, thoughtful, talkative, funny, laid-back, and intelligent. I don't care what kind of job you have or how much you make - just as long as you find some fulfillment from it and can support yourself.I'm looking for a long-term relationship, hoping to lead to marriage someday. However, I like to take things slow and truly develop a friendship leading to the LTR. I don't know if I believe in soulmates, but I do hope to marry someone that I can call my best friend. I believe that couples should boost each other, be there for each other, make each other better and be a team, a partnership...you and me against the world kind of thing. Oh and to explain my parenting situation - I have a 25 year old son that is currently living with me while he finishes his final year of college. Then he'll be off to another state to find his life. We're very close but obviously, he has his own life now.FYI: Not interested in long-distance relationship - To me, a great first date is a museum or fair (especially an art fair). It allows you to walk around and chat comfortably and yet fill in the "uncomfortable silences" that sometimes occur, with comments about the fair or museum exhibits. And of course, you'll know the first date was a success when you have NO CLUE about the exhibits you just walked past for an hour... :-)
