I'm not interested in hanging around the produce section at the market (points if you like to do laundry and/or grocery shop) nor returning to college for the sake of meeting someone. As an only child, my parents are very important to me. My parents have been married (happily???) for over 50 years. Holy shit! I have a 20 year old...Running my own business that allows me lots of time to explore other things.I'm the chair of the stewardship and fundraising committee at a kooky, left wing church. I am not at all religious but quite spiritual.I volunteer at CAMH, co-facilitating a skills/support group for parents of teens with severe emotion dysregulation.In the next five years I hope to buy a place in the country and gradually get to a point where I spend half my time there.I recycle and compost but every once in a while, when the fridge gets really bad, I will just dump it all in the garbage...I read a lot of non-fiction. I really enjoy books about spirituality and also sex, I read a lot of books about sex. Both theory and practical... in terms of fiction I mostly read dramas...I also enjoy a trashy magazine (people, us) from time to time.I love going to small intimate performances (cabaret, plays, music, comedy shows)I like all kinds of food and I'm a pretty great cook. I don't eat out very often and I try to focus on eating mostly fresh and healthy food.I don't like eggplant!I think that meeting in person is the best way to really get a sense of each other so let's do that right away :) Just a casual face to face to see if we want to get to know each other a bit more.
