About Me

Looking for the guy that I can't wait to come home to in the evenings. Where we can watch a movie with popcorn at home, or go out on the town and just have fun and laugh for hours, comedy clubs, Orpheum, dinner, whatever that may be. I'm becoming more and more of a health nut since about March ***. This past year I've given up alcohol, fried foods, gone gluten-free, and trying my best to give up soda--but it's been a challenge on that last one. Especially since Brueggers has the annual soda club that makes it really convenient. One of my colleagues told me a few months ago that he thought it was better to have a chronic diagnosis, never take a moment, or anyone that enters your life, for granted and to live as healthy as possible--than to be 100% healthy, not take care of oneself wrecklessly, where it's a self-induced situation of sickness later.--there just may be something to that. I do know, that life's invaluable and no one knows what the future holds. Working at one of the world's best cancer center's in the past, everyone has challenges at some time that they'll face. It's how they face it, and can they start every day as a blank slate of a new beginning, that makes all the difference. Drama is a really difficult concept for me to grasp at this point and not what I'm seeking-- It's publically reported that nurses are the most trusted profession--we see and hear alot. I love what I do, and don't regret any of my professional steps taken on my own journey--but I don't have a high threshold for drama or intentionally inducing a stressful environment for a sake of discussion. If you're prone to creating drama because of a 'bad day', someone, somewhere had a day that was a lot worse--we won't be a fit. Not that there's not going to be bad days--but I can guarantee that rarely are they a true crisis. if you've reached a point of balance in your life, and seeking someone to enhance rather than replace the parts that may be deficient (No one is perfect. Amazing how most of the profiles paint themselves that way...), we may be a fit. Everyone has their idiosyncracies-- The right guy has flaws, but knows those aspects that make him unique are part of who he is today......may just win the powerball.

I enjoy outdoor activities such as walking and playing tennis. I like to keep fit with dance classes. It's important for me to keep in touch with family and good friends. Eating out and going to the theatre are two of my favourite ways of catching up with people. I enjoy a wide range of music and play the piano. I have fluent French and French culture appeals to me.I am positive and optimistic about life. As a first date I would like to meet for a drink and a chat to find out our common ground in a relaxed atmosphere perhaps followed by a bite to eat.
