About Me

I am a native Floridian so I love the water and beaches. I've been here a little while now, but I consider myself new to the area in terms of still needing to explore so much around here.I like to do outdoor activities as well as relax with a movie or nice dinner. I am quiet at first, but as I get to know someone I am more out-going. I like almost all types of music and have tried to learn all types of dancing. I like to travel to explore places and meet people. I enjoy someone with a good sense of humor (not a gross one, but a good-hearted one). I like some banter. I think taller guys should be with taller girls - there aren't too many and we need them! :-)I tend to prefer people with good attitudes about everything. I like someone who is mature, yet can be silly at times. "Ideal" is hard to say. I believe that the questions we were prompted to answer for this helped to give us some insight into each other. Each case is different, of course. I like someone who can talk about most subjects and someone who likes to do things/is active, but who can also enjoy relaxing. I believe all good relationships start with a foundation of friendship (but also with chemistry, of course), leading to a more romantic relationship.I have been sky diving, but need to go again; I am SCUBA certified, but it's been a while and I want to get back into it; I went to school in the SE and studied some out of the country, after hard work to get there; my parents are originally from NYC, with Irish, German, English, and Spanish roots;; I have worked with the military in the past; I enjoy traveling; and I have been around the US and other countries for work and vacations.I am looking for a STRONG person...someone who is secure with themselves.. and that comes in many forms;.. did you ever stop to think maybe your soul mate wasn't placed conveniently right down the street for you? Imagine that.. :-)Besides there being a natural chemistry between us, I am looking for someone who is kind and generally happy and comfortable with themselves. I tend to sometimes like someone who has an older soul, but young spirit.

    I’m pretty open minded…everyone has their own experiences in life that may put them in situations to make certain choices or view things in certain ways—some good, some bad. I believe in looking at the big picture before placing judgment on a person’s position in life or their principles. Depending on the circumstances, I have a serious/responsible side, but believe me; I am quite capable of having lots of fun! Actually, I'm usually the one who doesn't want to leave the party. Outside of work I'm usually hanging with the family or out with friends...drinks, etc. I enjoy concerts and going to the casino. I love playing cards. As for traveling, I really haven’t been to too many places, but I definitely want to fit more travel time in and see a lot more....especially where it’s warm, because I DON’T like cold weather at all!! The type of man I’m looking for…someone who is down to earth, honest, and considerate, someone who can make me happy, make me smile/laugh and I’d do the same for him. I’d like someone who truly wants to share each other, spend time; going to dinner, movies, concerts or just hanging out together relaxing at home, watching our favorite shows, cooking together,walking/sitting on the beach, picnics, camping, traveling…all that good stuff!
