Some have *** simply to say my profile is too long, I find that intriguing and a little amusing...Can you make it through my entire profile? You already are ahead. I am here to meet people who have common interests, goals and an excitement for all that life has to offer. Clearly we need to exchange a few ***, but lets get on the phone, talk, and meet. My photos are all quite recent and I have been told upon meeting that I look just like my photos, Appearances are not everything, but if we can't recognize each other, yet have seen photos then something is not quite right...I think I am pretty diverse, love to be outdoors being active. I would rather be biking, running, hiking, etc than always bellied up to a bar drinking. Now, I do enjoy having drinks, I love a good craft beer and have a love affair with wine. find a patio with live music and I could spend all day, a good book on the beach = a day well spent. A day hiking the back country = another day well spent.Words to describe me, Optimistic: I always try to find the silver lining and tend to let things roll off my back life is too short to spend it angry about things you can't change. If you are unhappy with something in your life, change it, do it differently. Empathetic: I feel hard, I feel my friends and families pain and joys as if it was my own. Loyal: I am a secret keeper and confidant for my closest friends. I've got their back and I am not talking behind their back. Dreamer: I love to dream big, the world is full of possibilities. Determined: Sometimes the only person that can make things happen is you, just get it doneCurious: I love information, I may not retain it all, but I want to know. Adventurous: One of my favorite songs right now is "I lived" by One Republic. I want to feel like I have lived and not just let life happen to me.I enjoy the companionship a relationship has to offer and believe a good relationship is a partnership. someone who will challenge me to be my best and isn't afraid to be real with me, someone who values my input and sees me as an equal. I am at the age I don't want to play games, i am perhaps sometimes too honest, but I don't want anyone to have to try to read my mind. :) Communication, active listening, valuing the knowledge and input each other has on a variety of subjects, all are held in high regard. Any chance i had I hopped a plane and came back with a passport full and so many amazing experiences.i have been known to road trip from one corner of the country to another. Not that I don't enjoy flying, I love aviation, but I enjoy the journey a road trip provides and seeing all that there is to see.When I think about what I have learned about relationships and what I want in a partner, I don't think it is really that complicated. the ability to communicate is so important but what do I find sexy? A security in themselves, brains, creativity, a sense of adventure but not wreckless adventure, someone who wants to experience life with a partner, but is secure to enjoy some of their own hobbies on their own and be ok with me doing the same. A desire to take care of themselves and their health. I try to eat clean and have made great strides in my own fitness. I think I was more fit when I turned 40 than I was at any other point in my life, including when I was actively running marathons. an ability to step out of their comfort zone and into mine at times, I am sure to step out of mine and into yours.Clearly, (to me anyway) there has to be a nice foundation of friendship and spark, I am open to possibilities and trying to step out of my comfort zone. lets meet, something low key where we can enjoy conversation. :)

So, other things to know about me… I like to treasure hunt…lots of places… beaches,estate sales and sometimes garages sales. Although this hobby sounds a little like a pack rat, I am darn selective of what actually comes home with me. Half the fun is the hunt. I am not really into stuff, just for stuffs’ sake. I enjoy having nice things around me. When items are too crowded and crammed into your space, I believe that creates more chaos then they are worth having around. Objects that really mean something or hold particular sentiments are what I like to have around me. What I enjoy more are memories of places and events. These are the true treasures of life. (Oh, my, that sounds almost wise. Cool!)I know that no one else can make you happy. Happiness comes from within. Granted, there is always room for improvement, so don’t take that previous statement as out-of-control ego… more like healthy respect for self.
