About Me

Everyone always seems to think that this part is awkward. We all struggle with writing things about ourselves. Yet, this should be something that we embrace and own. It's what we have done with our lives, who we are and the things we enjoy doing. Pride is healthy in manageable doses. So is humility!!I am proud to say that I am a mother. I have two amazing teenage boys that challenge me on a daily basis. They are active, healthy and intelligent young men. I am blessed to have them!!! God is my rock and my best friend. Without his grace and mercy, I could not get through each day. I am thankful for the relationship that I have with Him given through Jesus on the cross.When I am not decorating the locker room for football games, serving meals on Friday to the team, taking forgotten items to the school, running to doctor and orthodontics appointments;(among the myriad of domestic tasks at home), I work as a Financial Advisor. I am also currently continiuing my education in the Health Care field. If you get to know me, you will realize that my personality and heart is about giving. After the last 16 years in sales, I have decided that I want to be in an environment that I can have daily interaction with people who are need of a kind word or a hand to hold. I plan to accomplish this by completing nursing school or a radiology program within the next two years. I enjoy most outdoor activities including hunting and fishing with my boys. Beaches are my favorite. There is something about the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand that makes your soul sing!!! I have a slight fascination with sea turtles. (A story for later...maybe on a date)My parents are both living and still married after 51 years. I adore them and will always give first priority to my family.I work out ***timers per week and have found this to be a new addiction within the last year. I enjoy meeting new people, trying new things and visiting new places. I listen to most music genres, excluding rap and heavy metal. The first concert I went to was Cheap Trick opening for 38 Special in ***. LOL !!!! Now, I have really shown my age. I would like to meet someone to have stimulating conversation with. I am very flexible when it comes to dating. Dinner and talking; a walk in the park; sitting on a blanket counting stars; or dancing the night away. I enjoy the arts, so plays and musicals don't bore me.
