About Me

I like to stay active, spend a lot of time in, on, and around water. I also have an adventurous nature that drives me to continuously try new things. My match would be someone who likes to GO, GO, GO. Even if it's flying dollar store kites at a park/lake. I stop to smell the roses, blow the dandelions, and am still learning to perfect the art of skipping rocks on water. If you're afraid to get dirty, thrown in the water, or have a food fight, you're prolly not the right person for me.I would like to be swept off my feet, falling head over heels for a kind hearted, non judgmental, gentle natured man. Someone who will respect me and accept me for who I am, and not try to change me to fit a certain mold. I've been told that I'm "hard to control" & I "can't be tamed"...HA! I want a partner who will act as silly as I do at times, and is willing to laugh at himself as I often do - but who knows when to be serious & get situations under control. I'm at the tail end of a brutal divorce - separated for 3+ yrs. I've been on the dating scene for a while, and truly despise it. I'm ready to settle down, but not "settle" for less of a man than I think I deserve. I'm an only child, raised by an incredible man, who spoiled me ever so slightly...Just throwing that out there ahead of time. I'm not materialistic, but I have good taste. I hope to find a man who doesn't mind that part of who I am. I am a total foodie and cook daily. Basically that means everyone who comes over leaves with a full belly. Speaking of bellies - I am not a large woman, but I'm not petite either (Sz ***. I have curves and carry them well. I'm not into the gym, but will man up if faced with a wii sports challenge. Just moved here from Jax, Fl. to take care of my mom, as i do every yr - I enjoy all of the activities listed above, but have yet to get down with a Fight Club.I say what I mean & mean what I say. I'd like a partner in crime who can adapt to various environments, be it having beers at a biker bar, or attending a formal event. I have three grown children who live on their own in Fl. - and two little guys (9 and 11), who live in Jax with their dad (I miss them terribly).; some holidays. Family is the most important thing to me, as is making a comfortable, clean, lived in home. I miss not having those things. I'd eventually like to have it again, with someone special. Children belonging to my partner wouldn't bother me, as I've had a blended family before and know how much work is involved, but the payoff is huge in the end. We all have some amount of drama, so I always giggle to myself when I read "no drama" in profiles. The secret to handling the other person's drama is to realize *** has a history with prior relationships, & if each partner accepts that, things will go much more smoothly for all involved. My ex is *my* ex, and your ex is *your* ex. It's that simple. Anyway, I'm too much of a free spirit to let negativity get me down for long.     Looking for an intelligent man that smells delicious and that can make me laugh. I am so ready for lots of laughs. Whats the saying live, laugh and love? That totally would work for me.     I am a low maintenance, low drama lady who is looking for someone to hang out and have fun with. I like to bowl even though I am really bad at it...just call me the gutter ball queen.
