I would like to think that my last few years of single life have taught me a few things about myself.I've learned that patience is always a virtue, but sometimes too much can cause problems.I've learned that compromise is important but you also need to not be as flexible.I've learned that laughter is essential in everyday life along with hugs and kisses and hand holding.And most of all I have learned that you must must must communicate, no communication leads to confusion, leads to sadness, leads to misunderstandings and then everyone gets hurt.I'm a single mom who is involved in my childs life. But you can't beat a nice quiet night in with a silly movie, a serious movie or just a plain old scary movie....and a nice bottle of wine. Spending time with that special someone is important to me, but I do realize that space is needed sometimes to regroup and breathe.I have chosen a serious relationship as my ultimate goal, but first ....gotta meet, gotta date, gotta see if we can even stand eachother. Unless of course someone has invented a time warp to get us past the awkward confusing part of dating and get to the good stuff!!

I am a single mother of two young elementary aged children who are my first priority. Outside of my children, I consider myself to be fun loving, outgoing, a good sense of humor, witty, enjoy good conversations about most topics. I like to cook, watch movies at home, read novels (true crime, self help, spiritual awareness) and do the odd crossword puzzles or play fun board games. Athletically I can keep up a nice pace on the gym treadmill, enjoy swimming, going for walks. Love hanging at the beach with friends or with my kids, taking road trips, going for coffee, sitting in the yard under the umbrella and just listening and watching. Personally, I haven't had much availability to "put myself out there" to meet men as friends or dating partners as I have placed myself on the back seat while my children were always first to take care of and still are of course, but its not as demanding as when they were infant/toddlers. I would like to give a try to meeting new people, making some contact at possible casual dates and just let things flow as they should normally and casually and friendly. I just want to leave it at that for now and hopefully something will come of this short ad. coffee house or walk in a park, anything to do with music.
