I am checking out what's out there....;) it appears that there are a lot good catches, and hopefully I am not reading too much into what is said. It gives me hope to believe that there are good guys out there.....and hopefully I can meet one, and see where it goes. I am 39, single and looking for something serious. I would like to start slow, but hopefully connect with a mature, respectful, funny, honest, intelligent, loyal man. Is that too much to ask for??? I am not looking for someone to take care of me, but someone to spend quality time with, and start a new life together.I moved to NC over five years ago from CA, and have made some really good friends, finally, however, they are all married. I am tired of being the third, or five wheel. I am finally at a place in my life, that I feel confident that there is someone out there for me. I am ready to take the next step, and put myself out there, and take a chance. Internet dating seems the easiest way these days, to connect, with singles.I work full time Monday through Friday. I work out at the gym a lot, and am a work in progress. I also work out with a personal trainer at least 2 days a week. I am dedicated to getting in better shape, and having fun learning new active ways to get there. I enjoy playing baseball/softball, basketball, as well as watching on tv and live. I enjoy all kinds of music, and am starting to even like a little country. lol. I am kindhearted, smart, funny, loyal, honest, and respectful. I treat people the way I would like to be treated. I was taught, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. I a VERY shy when I first meet someone and can honestly say that your "first impression" of me may be totally different than the real me. Once I feel comfortable, which doesn't take long, my real personality bursts forth.
