This is so out of my comfort zone. But a friend of mine talked me into this because this is where she met her soul mate and is now engaged to the love of her life. But I'm not always about "chick flicks". I do like an occasional war movie or action film. I listen to Country music mostly but enjoy Today's top hits also. And I can't believe I'm going to admit this but I was a total freak back in High School when it came to New Kids on the Block. I love to have fun, laugh, and have I a pretty good sense of humor. I enjoy going to Rodeos, camping, sitting around the camp fire with friends and family while tipping back a few cold beers.! I also enjoy staying home and just cuddling on the couch watching movies too. It doesn't take too much to impress me. Just to have someone that actually cares about my feelings and put a little thought in to me is really all I want and need. I am in NO way materialistic. That about sums it up for me. Simply put, I love my life, my family, friends, and I especially love my job! I am a postpartum nurse & care for moms just after they have had their babies.....definitely one of the happiest places in a hospital. I will eventually go back to school to get my Masters Degree and become a Nurse Practitioner. I love to laugh (even at myself sometimes) and am incredibly down to earth. I am always ready for great conversation, adventures, and learning new things. I value honesty and integrity and consider myself an open book. I believe that relationships are a partnership and both people are responsible for making it work and working through things together. Someone who values honesty just as much as I do and isn't afraid to confront issues head on. Someone who can make me laugh and can carry on an intelligent conversation. And someone who is willing to go through all the crazy adventures of life with me with a huge smile on their face and holding my hand. First dates are essentially informal interviews.....so with that being said, a nice dinner or meeting up for coffee is usually good.
