A fairly new resident of this beautiful town. I am wondering where all the young people are?! Moving here has opened so many fun and interesting doors for me. A typical week for me usually has a combination of a couple of mountain bike rides, checking out some local live musical treats and lots of cooking. I make a pretty big effort to recycle, support locally own businesses and generally show respect to the environment. Although I have a junker car, I choose to ride my junker bike to work (all 3kms!).But I am no preacher! I don't have a TV but I enjoy watching some shows on Netflix once in a while. Books seem to hit the spot a little more accurately of an evening.My family are a big source of joy for me. I travel back there about twice a year to collect up some hugs and make sure they are behaving (!)My work life is productive. I am in a position where I get to support people through challenging times, a constant reminder of how I should never take my health and happiness for granted.I am fairly in tune with what makes me happy/frustrated. I suppose I would be more of an introvert than an extrovert but I certainly know how to be assertive and communicate my feelings. I also don't baulk at being the first one on the dancefloor when there is live music in front of me ;)Looking to meet someone to share the fun and laughter that I have been blessed with. I never thought I would live here, but it is really nice being close with more of my family.I am a very active person and try to stay busy every day. I work out before work every morning and then again in the evenings if I have nothing better to do. I am not a workout nut, but I am trying to get back in shape and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication so I do what I have to. I prefer to do other things after work like bowling, going to the dog park if the weather is nice (still haven't found one in A2 though), going out to drinks or dinner, hanging out at a bonfire, really anything and everything especially if it is outside. In the summer I love being out on/in the water as much as possible. I tried windsurfing for the first time this past summer and really enjoyed it. I hope to try it again next summer when the weather gets warm again.I also enjoy traveling and hope to do much more of it in the future. I'm saving up to hopefully go on another trip to somewhere new next year.What else, hmmmm, I am an animal lover. I enjoy a good beer, currently on a Two Hearted kick. I love tailgating but have never played corn hole. I enjoy meeting new people, but I am shy in large groups. I've ridden horses competitively since I was nine, but had to sell mine before moving here (hoping to start up again in the spring). I love impromptu camping trips and often keep my tent and sleeping bag in the back of my car in the summer. I'll try something new two or three times before I decide if I like it. I can't think of anything else right now and I feel like this is getting really long so I'll stop.I am looking for someone who enjoys being around people more than doing things alone. Someone who will say yes when I come up with something totally random to do (and someone who might come up with something random for me to enjoy too). I don't like being predictable and would hope that someone I am with would challenge me to continue in this way. Something active to keep the awkwardness away at first and then maybe something more laid back where we can talk a little more.
