I'm a small town girl; I currently teach in an elementary school...it's the best job in the world! I am a very down to earth person who loves to laugh. There is rarely a moment where I'm not smiling. My friends would say that I have a big heart; I often put others before me - but then again, I think that's the nature of a teacher. I'm a "normal" person - practical, laid back, easy-going, and real - definitely NOT the high-maintenance type. It's worth it to take just a moment to get to know the person you're with. In other words, I don't want to dive in head first...but we can jump in feet first ;o) Truth: I make mistakes. I sometimes laugh a little too loud. I can't stand mouth noises. I'm not perfect. I have a lot to say and love writing (can you tell?). I lose it during sappy-moments...in person, in books, in movies and on tv...occasionally during commercials. I can't stand unnecessary drama. I don't do well with fake people. I'm quick to read and call someone's BS. I'm not going to send you risqué pictures of me. I like yoga pants. I love wine. And, I'm often the one that takes a minute or two to get the joke. I'm looking for someone who can accept me for me and am looking for somebody to enjoy life with...someone who could possibly be the man I have my future with, and who values and wants a family. A good sense of humor and laughter are a must!!! I am also looking for someone who has a good heart, tries to see the best in everyone, works hard for what they want but can still balance their personal life, is ambitious, is not afraid to show and express their feelings, is honest and loyal, and most importantly, is not a d-bag :o) Something that includes good conversation, and a lot of laughing - I'm open to almost anything!

I am a busy woman who is a devoted teacher, cheerleading coach, and part-time grad student, although I plan on graduating with my masters degree in December! I enjoy reading just about anything, although much of my reading time is spent grading papers and reading for grad school. Although I currently work as a teacher, I have worked at several zoos in the past, so I love animals of all kinds. I am the proud owner of a female pit bull right now, but would love to have more pets someday (horses, reptiles)! As far as music goes, I will listen to anything: country, bluegrass (especially Alison Krauss!), rock, etc. I don't have a favorite station...I just surf until I find a song that I like.). I hate running, but I do like to be active (dance, cardio, aerobics, lifting, etc.) Outdoor stuff is fun, too, but I'm not a fan of the cold. Clearly, I'm here to find someone special, but I'm not going to rush into anything. Hanging out first, and we will see where it goes from there :)
