I'm kinda quirky. I like working on cars and anything associated with buying the tools to do so. I'm a soft butch though with a melty heart. I'll listen to almost anything but I'll like a lot of nineties rock---Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows---Matchbox 20. I work full time for a major insurance company. I'm pretty easy going as long as my bills are paid. Live music.

I am originally from Europe, but I've been in this area for the past ***years. Just got into the Grad School of my dreams. I think one would say I am a bit of a modern spiritual, that's at least what I think of myself. Spirituality is very important to me, it's my passion, my hobby and my path. But at the same time I love the way the world is right now with modern buildings, cutting edge technology and advertising. I think there is place for both in our lives. I appreciate people who are grounded but emotional. People who feel deeply but don't find the need to fly off the handle when upset. I appreciate philosophy, respectfulness and a strong sense of self. I cherish kindness over honesty, and forgiveness over stubbornness. By that, I don't mean I like liars, but people who know that sometimes it is unnecessary to state the obvious, ones with a sense of tactfulness. I think that keeping peace in my life is more important than money, but I make long term financial investments. I believe happiness is more important than a corporate job, but I am investing in a field that offers solid financial future. I am open to trying new things, understanding why they are enjoyable to someone else, but it does not mean they will be my favorite things once I try them. The most important thing in my life is balance, which is why I believe in temporary insanity over long term psychological dysfunction. Soul searching is good for anyone, but if it means you can only think and think and think for years on end with no results, then where is it taking you?Since coming to US, I have definitely put on some pounds, but I am trying to actively loose them. I would love to make friends with people who are athletic but patient and understanding that I'm only just getting there (don't worry, I won't lag behind for too long). I love hiking, biking and team sports ( but only if they are played for fun and not with aggressive competitiveness ). I am currently training for a 5K. I would love to join up with someone and head out to the First Landing Park or meet up for a round of tennis.
