What should you know about me? I grew up in small town MD, but have been in DC since finishing undergrad. I can be a little shy in big groups, but get me talking and I really love to laugh and be social. I'm into rock/metal music and love to go to concerts. My sense of humor runs on the sarcastic side, so while deep down I'm a nice person, you gotta be able to take a joke. I'm an avid reader, often mystery novels. I've also set a goal to try and travel and see more of the world. I have this map of the world that is a scratch-off and it is woefully under-scratched. I intend on fixing that and would love to find someone who would eventually be interested in joining me on traveling adventures. Mostly, I'm just looking for someone who loves to laugh and have fun, and is open-minded and likes trying new things and living life.I will say that I'm a very upfront and open person. I can't stand game playing and would rather everyone just say what they mean. And if there's no sparks? No hard feelings, but have the courtesy to at least say so *** pulling the "I'm just gonna let things slowly peeter out" approach or just suddenly *** more communication. We're adults now. Fancy first dates are so over-rated! On a first date, I care about getting to know a person and seeing how well we can interact. I usually like to start things out low key with coffee or drinks. But I'm open to suggestions.

I like to read and write, go sledding in the winter, cook, walk my dog, knit, go out with friends, go to shows. I like a lot of different kinds of music mostly rock and jam bands. I make hula hoops and love to explore waterfalls and love being outside in the summer. Something fun and kind of low-key like lunch or something, and maybe a walk on a trail or something, not an intense hike, but a cool walk in the woods is fine with me. Really, anything where we can spend time talking, because that's how we'd get to know eachother anyways right?
