I started listening to blues and jazz a few years ago and really like Madelaine Peroux.Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs and it seems most of the single men on here have one or both. I've been an empty nester for over 3 years and really enjoying my space, peace, and quiet. Actually surprised how many men in their 40's on this site who have young children. I'd prefer to wait several more years for grandchildren before I hear the pitter-patter of little feet around my house again.Saw this today and had to post it here to remind everyone not to judge a book by it's cover:Never look for a good face – it will turn old one day.Never look for good skin – it will wrinkle some day.Never look for a hot body – it will change one day.Never look for nice hair – it will turn white and frizzy one day.Instead, look for a loyal heart that will love you every day! I like a first date to be simple, and somewhere relatively quiet, so we can talk and get to know each other. So coffee/tea/drinks would be my 1st choice. If there's chemistry perhaps go out for a nice dinner then maybe a couple games of pool.

I have the ability to walk into a room full of strangers...converse with anyone..entertain my subjects..make them laugh with my quick wit...good humour..and not make a complete fool of myself or my sidekick! I have knowledge, experience,and some humourous antidotes on quite a diverse array of interesting topics, especially when coming from a females perspective. I can talk about heli-logging,billy pewing,bears,cougars,forest fires,public speaking,and various situation bloopers that I have found myself in. I like snowmobiling, motorbikes(I have one), boating (I have one), creative writing (have pencil), poetry (learned to rhymn in kindergarden), and many other things. My two children are adults and live on their own.I am not looking to take your house. I live in a newly built one of my own.I am happy with myself and all that is me within my own skin.I don't expect you to be perfect , I'm certainly not (snicker snicker big grin) and that's perfectly fine with me.What am I looking for in a man... About ***years older than me.. Taller than me.. Employed and prefer rich (lol)...By the way if you dont have it together enough to own a vehicle or you are on welfare then you need not apply... I expect loyalty ,trust and faithfulness and you will get that from me also..even when I am mad at you.. I want a man that wont let me overpower him because if you let me I will...
