Here are some things I like ....I like long walks in the park (who doesn't?) and especially with my dog. (I walked the Inka Trail in April. That was pretty spectacular although I don't think the surroundings qualify as a 'park'.) I like good conversations, and with enough motivation feel we can solve all the world's ills. I like travelling. A lot. I like driving a wee bit too fast and cornering with too much gusto on sunny days - and often while playing the music much too loudly. I think a perfect evening is one spent playing board games with friends and laughing so hard my belly hurts. I am acquiring a taste for painting (I like the bold possibilities of acrylics), and hope that practice will eventually result in talent? I like farmers' markets, and vegetable stands, and u-pick harvests. I tend to be a tad left-leaning in my political and social views. I am learning to garden, and my herb gardens become more interesting and diverse very year. I like finding treasures at garage sales and flea markets. I like good wine and old tangy cheese. I like reading - especially good fiction. I like eating with my hands. I try to eat 'right' - whatever that means and only 'most' of the time. I get lots of exercise (see reference earlier to my dog). I like flowers. I like good company. I am pretty indiscriminate about movies, and can usually find something worthwhile about them all -- and especially if there's popcorn with lots of butter. I like plays, and musicals, and dinner theatre, and comedy shows. I like trying new things. I like the quiet of a snowy night. I like pleasant surprises.I am blessed with a good job, many great friends, and a wonderful family.I am looking for someone who's also emotionally grounded, financially stable, well-educated - who's funny, smart and loves to travel.
