About Me

I enjoy being outdoors when weather is nice and would not mind a little fishing or going on a picnic or walking. I work full time and my kids are grown. I have alot of hobbies such as sewing, quilting, painting, some minor woodworking, and baking so I guess you could say I'm a jack of all trades. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty or heaven forbid, break a nail. I like to landscape/garden, also be a fixer upper type person when not renting. I occasionally watch movies and I also like to read. I typically listen to older classic rock and older country music. I am not allowed pets while renting but did a lot of feline rescue work, raised more than one littler of newborns and absolutely adored the three Boxers I've had (one gone, ex has the other two).I will readily admit I am more at home/comfortable in jeans, t-shirts, sweaters and/or sweatshirts, but I do occasionally like to dress up. I do not often wear high heels but will for the right occasion if I feel like it. I prefer to stay active but that doesn't mean I would not cuddle on the couch with the right person. I am able to do my own automobile, yard and household maintenance but don't let that intimidate you, be glad that I won't be asking you to change my oil or mow my yard this Summer but I might let you help...lol. This is going to sound mean but IMO, its the truth. If you are around my age and have only had "short term" relationships then I am probably not your type. No one is perfect including myself. While I am not looking for anything long term at the present time, I would have to seriously reconsider even dating someone whose previous relationships lasted a year or two. Any relationship requires compromise and good communication.I learned to ride a motorcycle late last year and enjoy short trips. I have not ridden with a group or another single rider so if we meet and decide to ride you will have to be patient with my inexperience and maybe even offer advice. Face it, you get hot and sweaty and I usually wear full gear because I want to keep my skin and brains intact. I am of average ht/wt: 5'4" and ***lbs. and I am physically fit for the most part. One daughter is recently married with a daughter and stepson, two of them share an apartment and the oldest lives with her boyfriend.I still consider myself new to online dating although I've been on here for awhile. I've met a couple but no sparks. I don't know why when I set up my search parameters that they do not save for the next time I log in. Please be considerate and check the distance between us.;comfort zone" so to speak. Let's just go have some fun and keep it causal and see where that leads us. Must meet in public place and not expect a romp in the sheets right away.
