Things I like: honesty, thunderstorms, crisp fall days and cool, breezy summer nights, a challenge, trucks, dancing, family get-togethers, mountains and lakes, anything outdoors, traveling, or even just a nice quiet evening cuddling on the couch. I'm very independent, but secretly would love for someone to take charge once in a while. I can be kind of sarcastic, goofy too, sort of a closet comedian. I like all kinds of music (loved the 80's), but mostly listen to country and top 40 while driving. Not one to be glued to the t.v., but like scifi, horror, comedy, action. I like a man that is confident, has a good sense of humor, goals, family oriented, and is financially stable. Definitely not interested in smokers...it's unhealthy. A man that can be aggressive (not abusive) when he wants something is a turn on. If you are older than me, please look young for your age. If you are younger than me, please be mature as I'm not interested in raising you..training you maybe, but not raising you:) I think country boys are cute, and silent men are mysterious. A man with a sense of humor will keep me laughing and an intelligent man will keep me thinking. Would love to meet a man that gives me that "butterfly" feeling in my stomach. Is that wishful thinking?Oh yes, I almost forgot dislikes: CHEATERS, LIARS, laziness, and people who chew food/gum with their mouth open...ewwww yickee! I've been single for several years, but my children (son***& daughter***are finally at an age where they do not require my constant attention and I have time for someone else in my life. I'm not sure how much more I can stress that "honesty is a must" with me. If you're not, eventually I will find out whatever it is you're not being honest about, and it will have been a waste of both our time.Conversation with mom: "Me: My love life stinks, momma. There's no good guys left. Me: (whining) But momma, I'm TIRED of kissing frogs!" Are you a "frog", or a ";? I'm no longer in my 20's and I have to work really hard to try and maintain the shape I'm in, which isn't perfect and still a "work in progress". With that being said, and this may sound shallow, but if you claim you're "athletic" or even "average", please do not have double chins and a belly that protrudes way over your belt line. I realize you all like to have a shed for your tools, but let's be realistic. :) I expect that you are active and try to lead a healthy lifestyle. It would be nice to meet someone that will workout with me, not make it harder for me to stay in shape. If you have children, know that I will treat your children as well as I treat mine, and I expect the same from you. I am a strict parent, but also very silly and affectionate with my children. They know without a doubt that I love them, but also know that I expect the best from them. I would hope that you are the same type of parent. The normal things: movies, dinner, coffee. Maybe something fun like go-karts, mini golf, amusement park. Just something low key with no pressure to "hit it off". If it happens, great, but I hate the pressure "first dates" usually imply. Just be yourself and be honest.
