About Me

I am looking for someone that is preferably still in their 30's or early 40's. I'm a mom to two kids ages 9 & 12. I stay busy! I like to do outdoorsy/rednecky things such as camping, bonfires, monster trucks, tractor pulls & concerts, yet I can put on a dress & act proper when necessary. I love all music but country is my favorite, as i love a good story! I have to have my daily dose of music--depends on my mood as to the genre of music--metal/80's/gospel/bluegrass, southern/classic rock/oldies/disco etc! I laugh a lot & am pretty laid back in attitude. I'll tell you how I feel in a heartbeat, good or bad. You're not going to have to guess if I'm mad but when it's over, it's over. I'm not a grudge holder. I expect & hope for the same from a partner. I am not athletic but I rarely stop until bedtime & am by no means lazy! I like to travel any weekend I can & love a short, impromptu weekend away with/without the kids. I make it mandatory to take in a sunset over the river from my front porch at least once a week--a glass of wine in hand. Good for the soul. I have lots of fun and try to live life to the fullest! Someone that can help me with projects around the house and that isn't jealous that I might have more power tools than he does. :-) Someone that likes to hang with friends at a bonfire on the river and drink, talk and listen to music without it getting out of hand. Camping, fishing and a general love of good weather and outdoors--no couch potatoes here! Someone that will do kid things with us and isn't afraid to jump in the car and take off for the weekend to see the leaves changing or find as many waterfalls as we can in one day. Something like an educated redneck. I'd like to be able to hold an intelligent conversation, maybe debate some hot topics and solve the world's problems over a bottle of wine or some beers. A little rough around the edges but not afraid to show some feelings now and then. High energy but able to relax on a Sunday evening. A productive citizen with a wild side. Someone that has his own interests, let's me have mine, but we still spend the majority of our time together. I guess my wish list is long, but they asked!! :-) Nothing fancy, just maybe out for drinks and appetizers... on the water maybe... some conversation and getting to know each other...

This is the hard part so here it goes.I'm starting life over again. This time I want to to it right. I am a strictly no-drama type of girl. I don't play games and I really want to find a man who has similar values. I like most all types of music but nothing too loud. I am quiet and a little shy but I love adventure. I want to die living not the other way around. I love nature and animals. I love the ocean. I want to go hiking and horseback riding. I want to see and touch everything.I am looking for a man to share life's adventures. I want the real thing. I am looking for my best friend, someone that I can trust to be who he appears to be. Are you out there? The first date.... Well, I would probably choose to meet at a nice restraunt or a cute little coffee shop. If the weather was nice, an outdoor venue like a fair would be cool. We could start with getting a drink and a bite to eat so we could talk for a while. Nothing too complicated or formal.

Who am I? I’m an intelligent, responsible, loyal person who loves to laugh. I’ve been labeled as ‘the hugger’ by my friends because I believe in letting the important people in my life know how much I appreciate them. I think people hear the bad things in this world all too often. My parents taught me “if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all” and I try to live by that.I have a sense of humor (although it is sometimes considered a little 'off'). I truly believe laughter is the best medicine. I tell it like it is.;Monk-ish."I have two children who keep me busy and laughing and engaged in what is really important in life; you know, like cartoons, video games and halloween costumes. I love many different kinds of music and really enjoy live music. You won't normally find me sitting around watching TV, unless the Packers, Badgers, or Brewers are on.Recent accomplishments - competed in my first triathlon and completed a 100k bike ride (yeah, I'm talking pedal bike)!Things I find attractive in a man? A great sense of humor, good manners, a sense of responsibility and someone who’s ever truthful, even when he knows what he has to say is not what I want to hear. It's hard to put who you really are in this little space - in short, I'm me! And if you'd like to know more, you'll have to contact me so we can chat. Hope to hear from you soon. Open to suggestions!

Hi there! If I had just one wish,it would not be for money, fame or fortune. It would just be to find my one true love. Someone who I can have a total connection with. I hope this doesn't sound corny or weird but it's from the heart. Why is it so hard? Where is that guy who is honest,affectionate...romantic(love to snuggle and kiss :)) hard working, good communicator loves animals and kids and just wants a lasting solid relationship? He need not be perfect because I certainly am not, a work in progress I like to say! I would hope we share some common interests but also be our own person by having our own hobbies. I have so many,I could stay busy if I lived to be 100! Let's see, love travel, cooking, being outside, walking, riding my bike, parks of all kinds, the arts, animals, watching movies and going to dinner or coffee are just a few.Oh and I love most music also, and concerts.I think I somewhat have things together and have come a long way as a single parent. I have a house/job and car.Always trying to improve myself and things around me. Try to always stay positive. I have 2 kids, one on her own and another teen.I am very much looking forward to hearing from some great guys!! :)) Coffee!! Love coffee houses! Or always up for suggestions!!
