About Me

I love to laugh, love to be outside (which can be tricky since we live in the Great NW LOL), love to read, bike, shop, hike, cook (although I enjoy it far more when I'm cooking with someone else), travel, ride my quads ***raptor) in the dirt or at the dunes, kissing & PDA in general, play around with my kids, have grown up nights out, have a cold beer on a hot day, take day trips to no where particular & love to drive fast (minus children) etc. Bonfires are a great summer pastime, but hot tubs on a snowy night at a log cabin on the mountain is something I enjoy as well. I'm comfortable in my Keens & a baseball hat but I look great in a pair of heels with a night on the town dancing the night away. I'm 37, widowed, have three amazing young girls, an adorable pug who thinks she's a farm dog trapped in a tiny body to complete our crazy country home. :)I am quick whitted, hard working, sassy ;), VERY physically affectionate, and an amazing mom. I've been told I'm high maintenance ... but worth it! LOL (Although I don't think I really am that high maintenance... lol). I love to camp, although can I admit I prefer trailers to tents (& I have both!)?; loving this weather so we can head back to the dunes! I attend church occasionally (non-denominational) & would definitely prefer my future "partner" to attend with me. I am blessed to have a career that i love, I own my own home, and yes I drive a Suburban ... but it's super cool LOL.I am looking for someone to be my best friend, to try new things with, to enjoy life with me, romance me, to stay up late & watch movies with, or build a bonfire & share a drink under the stars, go camping, raise our family together, be passionate in an amazing love affair with; every day/every room/every way, emotionally connect with, travel with, laugh our asses off, wrestle in the kitchen, make memories with, and just to have fun together. A man who is rugged, honest, and appreciate his partner & their family. A man who will not only stimulate me intellectually but as well as physically ...basically the best relationship of my life. No pressure!Physically, I'm 5'4", sexy, curvy (not a Barbie but still rocking it), busty, big blue eyes, shoulder length hair that is brown with golden highlights. I am a girly girl complete with dressing up in heels to go out, getting pedicures & massages, and even have a shopping addiction. But I can handle & look great in holey jeans & baseball hat sitting around the bonfire. I guess I enjoy the best of both worlds... Definitely attracted to the same!

I keep a smile on my face! And I try not to take things too serious, life is too short not to enjoy it. I love to do anything that requires laugh and fun. Look for people who can enjoy their lived and don’t mourn much.

Here's a few things to know: Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love coffee and I'm not a morning person. The promise of coffee and sugar are the ONLY things that get my sorry butt out of bed in the morning. After which, I don't make my bed, except maybe on the weekends, but that's a big maybe. I've never seen The Notebook, so the chances of my making you sit through it are pretty slim. I do love scary movies though and if you're a fraidy cat don't worry, I'll hold your hand :) On the more ridiculous end of the spectrum I am completely terrified of spiders, so you (hopefully) should not be. Yes, I know it's irrational and ridiculous; at least I own it!Hmmm...what else....I find myself getting sucked into Law and Order marathons frequently, but my dirtly little TV secret is Wipeout. Watching people voluntarily subject themselves to getting the crap kicked out of them provides me with endless entertainment (I am easily entertained? Yes.) Okay, moving on.... If there's an easy way and a hard way to do something, I'm going the hard way each and every time. Sometimes on purpose and sometimes not; I can be pretty stubborn and won't let anyone tell me what I can or cannot do; I'm always up for a challenge. I'm a pretty kick-!), but I'm no gourmet chef; don't ask me to make you a porkchop. Overall, I'm pretty low-maintenance; a friend once described me as the girliest tomboy he ever met. Maybe it has something to do with growing up in a house full of boys? I don't worry about the rain messing up my hair, breaking a nail or running to the store without looking perfectly made-up. When I laugh, I do it out loud, no holds barred if it's funny. Funny is good. In general, I like people that are different than me; i don't need a twin. I like having the opportunity to see a new perspective or a different way of thinking. My interests range from dance, I take ballet, modern and jazz, to reading, to rocking out to the Deftones while (attempting to) clean my house, to hanging out at the beach (rain or shine, I love watching the waves). What I'm looking for? Possibility. Someone who could enjoy pajama Sundays and banana chocolate chip pancakes when it's a monsoon outside and building a fort out of blankets and watching movies is a better option than leaving the house. And now, the fine print: I'm a few months out from a pretty big surgical repair of my foot/ankle (see above reference to love of dance...), and am still in rehab/recovery, so although I'm getting back into being active I can't go crazy just yet! First dates can be weird; it's like trying to make new friends all over again. Second dates are usually better; less feeling like we're in a mutual interview. Meeting for a drink, GoKart Racing, or a walk around Greenlake is fun or anywhere where there's good people-watching. I've found that if there's chemistry, it doesn't matter what you're doing. It's just effortless.
