About Me

I have to admit that I dont read these descriptions too much when I look at someone's page. I've found that it's easy for someone to claim to be anything they wish they were, when in reality, they may be completely different. BUT..., since I need to put something - here it goes. I'd love to eventually find a partner - someone who has my back and I have his, a united front to take on the world and the good and bad within it. Someone who if I say "I need to bury a body", would respond without question "I'll get the shovel" LOL. Someone who makes me feel secure and gives me NO reason to believe he is anything other than what he presents to me. Someone I can have a good time with, who makes me laugh and have fun, someone who makes me excited to spend time together, someone who makes me want to be my best, and who inspires me to open up and share myself, . I have lots of friends, great career, and busy social life. I'm very satisfied and am looking for someone to add to my already full life - I'm not looking for a penpal or a buddy - I get bored quick with back and forth *** get asked out alot, and have had men in the last year or two who;ve wanted to start a relationship with me. I decided a few years ago that for me to invest myself, it had to be with someone on my level - meaning - someone who wants the same things out of life, out of a relationship and who views the world and personal values/character the same as I do. This is not easy to find which is why I turn down alot of invitaions for dates. I'm at a point in my life where unless I see something that could grow, I'd rather spend time with my friends, my dog or doing things I enjoy at home. WHat I like to do..... Well, if you read the above, you can tell that I am self confident and know what I want, I'm very passionate about things and people I care about, if you get my attention, you;ll have it completely. I like to have fun - go out to dinner, hang with friends, go to lounges, get dressed up, take my dog to the park, lay in bed when its raining, cook, watch movies, horseback riding, biking, being outside, being home, reading, love to travel but hate to fly, love being spontaneous - but also like to plan ahead so I can fit everything in that I want to do on my free time, I like a "real" man who can make me feel protected and feminine but at the same time can look me in the eye and tell me how he's feeling. Someone who;s not a push-over but willing to compromise. on the flip side.....I can have moments of insecurity or uncertainty. I'm very sensitive and can pull back easily. I can be impatient and hard-headed. I'm very smart but can be an air-head,I can be naive one minute and very skeptical the next, I admit I can be "crazy" if I'm put in the situation that brings it out in me. I've been heartbroken and lied to so I can have a hard time trusting if I feel someone is being shadey. I've broken hearts and made mistakes, I've learned hard lessons, but am grateful b/c I'm now better prepared for the next person that comes into my life. I do stupid things and I'm far from perfect - and I kinda like me that way ;-), so.....not expecting to find the perfect man - just the one who's perfect for ME ! Youre the man....you plan it

    I thought for a second I might have met someone. But, nope, still here :)...... But, I think friends only is what I need for a bit.Hi :) I'm a single mother of three. My oldest has moved out of the house. :( I've been divorced for 8 years and have well put that behind me. Well, let's see, I definitely would like to find a serious relationship eventually. But I think you have to spend at least a little time getting to know someone first to see if they fit into that category. Chemistry is more immediate, but you gotta have that too. ;). I'm sort of on a voyage right now to spend more time being happy. I woke up one day and realized that I was letting all my burdens weigh me down. It was making me someone I didn't want to be. Lol, this is a work in progress, but I am on my way. The biggest lesson in that for me has been my own mindset more than any external factors. I am sort of rediscovering how to have fun.Like everyone, I love to laugh. But, I really want to find that person I can be comfortable and silly with. You know, someone you can play with?;, that's bonus points. Yeah, I can be goofy at times. :)A good communicator is a must. *** Or at least you have to be ok with listening to me chatter away. I am a thinker in this aspect and I enjoy it. I like studying the world and myself trying to figure out the whys to things. A guy who is intelligent enough to keep up with me on this front is a huge turn on. That being said, sometimes I need someone to pull me out of my own head. :)I consider my spirit a dancer. :) And, as such, I love live music. Although, I haven't been to see near enough in recent years. I can be both extroverted and introverted. It all just depends on my mood. (Typical Gemini)Right now, I don't have a lot of freedom for the spontaneous trips etc. Lol, but I dream of the day that I will. I think I vaguely remember that I liked to travel. ;) My point is I can't be taking off as I still have children at home. But, I'd like that to change someday when empty nest hits. :)Lastly, when I fall in love with someone, I am crazy loyal to them and, in my eyes, they are the only man in the world. First date, let's decide what works for both of us. But, before that, let's meet for a half hour and see if we are even interested.

    I really try to be a good person, and treat others as I'd like to be treated. I am a little bit reserved at first, and try to be careful who I let into my inner circle. I prefer quality over quantity. My hobbies include running, and playing pool. I'm not such a great or devoted runner, but I definitely enjoy it several times per week. It's a difficult activity, and that's what makes it so attractive to me; it makes me feel strong. Pool is something that I picked up a few years ago, and I'm a decent player. I really enjoy the game, but find it's difficult to fit into my schedule, along with not really having any close friends who also enjoy the game. I own a home, and I enjoy taking care of the yard & have an interest in gardening. I really enjoy the outdoors as a whole, there aren't too many outdoor activities that I don't like. I am extremely devoted to my friends and family. I have two children at home, and along with that I have 5 siblings with families of their own. I really love spending time with them, some of my siblings and their spouses are my closest friends. The one thing I hear from my closest friends is that they know they can count on me, and I couldn't ask for a better response. I try to treat others as I want to be treated, and so I give what I expect. I enjoy most types of music, and the older I get, the more open to new genres I become. There is music playing most of the time in my house, in the car, pretty much all the time. I love it, and you can usually tell my mood by my selections. I think that my ideal first date would probably be some sort of food activity...I guess it makes it a little easier to get past some awkward moments if you have a roll to butter or something. I am not so much into anything really fancy, casual is more my speed these days. I like to get to know people, understand how they tick, so I would probably ask about a million questions. I am pretty comfortable with my own skin, although a bit leery of being too open at first, and I have to remember that I can't be so nosy without some reciprocity. So anyway, food. Go somewhere to eat. If it clicks, it'll click anywhere, so I guess it doesn't really matter where you end up.
