Looking for a little bit of everything. Of course, all the cliches - kind, honest, great sense of humor. I'm active and athletic, love being outside and hope to meet someone with the same appreciation of nature. Still need to get to a beach when I want to feel like I'm home. It doesn't hurt that my father is a boat captain so I've spent most of my life not just near, but often on the water. Just enjoy being outside -I'm very energetic - I have a hard time sitting down most of the time - but a good movie always gets me to sit still for a few hours. Enjoy anything live - whether it's theater, a street performance, a concert, or something local in town. I don't watch much TV but love listening to music. Been through marriage, separation, and divorce. I've learned so much from the experience and am lucky to have had an amicable split and continued friendship, Have a rock solid belief that even in difficult situations, kindness and compassion are essential. No need to make something harder than it already is. Would love to meet someone who has also been through this process - because I believe it changes you - but am open to possibilities. I am fortunate to have a great job in a great community and love going to work each day.- especially when it involves ***teenagers each day. I teach high school English so, clearly, reading is a big part of my life. So is a good sense of humor which often means lots of sarcasm. Teaching is my 'second career' but I couldn't imagine doing anything else. Looking for intellectual stimulation - long conversations that keep me up much too late are my preference. If I can talk to someone for hours and hours, there's something there. Just coffee or a drink. Something simple. A nice conversation.
