I'm a 36 year old single mother of a wonderful, soon-to-be, 3 year old. He is the number one person in my life. If I'm not working then he's with me. Needless to say I don't really have much of a social life these days. I really love music. Before my son came along I used to go to countless shows every year. Now it's more like 4 a year. The last 2 shows I saw were Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I really pick and choose the shows I want to see. If I ever get a chance to see Tom Waits live I can die happy.I came to NY to work on my photography. I was on my way to building up my portfolio and then my son happened. It's been on hold ever since. I will get the ball rolling again soon. I'm looking forward to this summer. I'm planning on buying a bike so my son and I can ride in the park together. We're also going to plan a few beach outings as well as hitting up the neighborhood pool. I finally got back down to my pre-baby weight and I plan on keeping it off and getting in even better shape this summer. Someone open to the possibility of having children! Housebroken! I think handy is hot! I lean toward outdoorsy, "I'm just a guy," kind of guys who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. I am a single mother to two children (ages 16 and 9). I am outgoing in most situations,and have been working towards a goal to better myself. My kids always come first, as they are what I live for everyday...I also have 4 spoiled animals (dog, cat, and 2 rabbits). The animals are a very important part of our family so you have to like animals. I like just about every kind of music, between myself and my children we have a wide variety that we will listen to. Sometimes what I listen to will all depend on if I want to sing along or not :) I am looking for forever, but I am not in a hurry. I do not put up with lying or cheating. UPDATE: I guess knowing I am a single mother is not enough....I have two children that live with me, my daughter does not see her father so that means she is at my house 90% of the time. Both kids are part of the package, however, she definitely is the biggest part. Yes, her brother will watch her so I can go out, but they will still be at my house. If you cant deal with that then move on. A first date is all about getting to know the other person, so what it would actually be really depends on the season. If its spring, summer, or fall something outside so you can talk and just spend time together. The first meeting is a great time to find out if there is that spark there that is going to make you want to spend more time with the person...I have learned that even though things seem great on the phone, texting, or over the internet that does not mean there will be a spark when with each other.
