I love good manners, kindness and thoughtfulness in others. So saddened by what is going on in this sad country and am quite fiery on the subject as I'm part of the negative equity situation. I'm an old fashioned type and do appreciate older things such as antiques, books, old pubs like the Long Hall, Stags, Ryans, McDaids etc.. (did you know McDaid was the city morgue - I'm full of random trivia) and like my men with good values.I love music to the extent of being passionate about it - especially old school rock & roll, jazz, blues.. Pretty much all types, with the exception of metal.; John Grant, Melody Gardot - blown away by these guys. Love going to concerts. I'm an honest, up front, caring person but have no tolerance for messer's on here or in-genuine people.. I am fairly easy going, enjoy having a laugh and I enjoy the simple things in life. I am a bit handy around the house, especially for those guys that aren't DIY orienated, I have been known to hang some shelves....and yes, they are still standing. I remember to put oil in the car and can change the bulbs in the headlights....all the essentials covered, lol.What do I like...I like walks on the beach..cliché I know, but grew up next to one and living in midlands, I take any chance I get to go for walks on the beach. I've also been known to do a bit of fishing. I love sunsets and starry nights, you just need a warm blanket to snuggle up in and perhaps a glass of wine.I'm not a city chic, you won't find me browsing shops for hours on end, don't ask me about designers or celebs, or most of the soaps on TV, I know very little about them. You are more likely to find me digging up the garden, covered in clay, but I do have a girly side, I do mourn the loss of a nail if I break one, lol.I can honestly say that what I like most is the companionship that comes from being in a relationship ie the banter over dinner, or snuggling up on the couch with a glass of wine, watching favourite programmes on Tv while recounting the days activities. For me your partner should also be your best friend.
