Phrases that have been used to describe me: open minded, honest, optimist, authentic, extravert, creative, independent, passionate, athletic, idealist (some have referred to this as naive which is a little less flattering), affectionate, emotionally aware, disciplined, intelligent, agnostic (a priest friend once told me that he refers to this classification as being religiously lazy, I am okay with this) and close to my family. I tend to connect better with individuals who are open minded, have a sense of humour, are affectionate, emotionally/self aware, enjoy the outdoors and new experiences, are social, and live a healthy lifestyle (e.g., don’t smoke, enjoy exercising, and have good work life balance).     I guess my friends would describe me as a nice girl with a sarcastic sense of humour. I completed my degree over 4 years ago and I am currently working as a registered nurse in urgent care. Working in Haiti had a huge impact on the way I view the world and I'm heading back in mid October for another volunteer trip. Family is really important to me (I have an 13 year old nephew, a 6 year old brother and a 9 year old sister-all of whom I'm very close with).
