Hmmm, I'm never good at this. Honestly, if you have a question, just ask. I'd rather talk/message with someone and get to know them rather than writing it all down here. I'm NOT here to hook up...lol I'm here to chat and see what all is out there whether it be a friendship or more. So, if you take the time and message me, I'll message back :) Nothing too formal. I'm a down-to-Earth kinda gal...dinner or drinks or coffee...whatever is easiest for both of us :)

What can I say that everyone hasn't already said a thousand times. I am not the typical female. I'm a U.S. Navy vet. I own a gun and have my CCW. I want to learn how to hunt. I don't wear make up. The closest thing I get to make up is Chapstik. It's a waste of time and money. I don't smoke or do drugs, but I do like a drink once in a while. I like camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, gardening, yard work, just about anything you can do outside. I have a 13 year old son and we're both very involved in the Young Marines. I like classic rock, southern rock, country, folk, big band, and classical. My favorite band is AC/DC. My favorite food is Mexican and I put jalapenos on everything. I love to cook. It's my creative outlet. I can change a tire, change the oil in my car and give it a tune up. I love muscle cars and try to go to a couple of car shows a year. Would be nice to have someone to go with. I loved it and can't wait to take my son back with me for a visit. El Yunque was amazing! I have a great family and we're very close. I have a hard time meeting guys because I'm not what guys are looking for. I'm not a bleach blonde, stick thin, Barbie doll. Just sayin', this is what I've seen every time. I'm asking one thing, if you want to talk to me, then talk. Just don't leave me hanging when you find someone better. I am so sick of this happening. Don't be rude. I know guys have a problem with using their manners, but come on, have some consideration. I'm not a girly-girl. I won't ever apologize for it either. I had a rough marriage and was lucky to get out of it when I did with my son and myself in tact. From the profiles I've read here, all guys want someone with no 'baggage'. Guess what, if you're living, you have a past. If you have a past, you have baggage. My baggage is I have trust issues. I've been alone for over 13 years because it's safe. Because I don't ever want to repeat what I went through with my ex-husband. It's taken me this long to really put an effort in to looking for someone. It has taken two very close friends to teach me that A.) Not all guys are the same and B.) I do not want to be alone forever. These are lessons I'm still learning and I hope to meet someone here that can convince me of this. Maybe some day... My idea of a good first date can be anything from going out for coffee to going to the shooting range for target practice. I haven't been on a date in over 13 years so I'm not sure what people my age do on dates.
