About Me

Currently, I'm redefining myself, and I love trying new things. It doesn't mean I'm going to like everything, but I have found some unexpected joys by testing my limits. Our team practices three times a week, and I spend a lot of time doing drills outside of that. Maybe I'm just going through a mid-life crisis, but this is currently a huge part of my life. It has also led to a fondness for fishnets --related outings.Aside from that, I do have more "vanilla" interests. I love gardening; there are few things better than eating what you have planted and nurtured into ripeness. I'm also pretty fond of barbecues and playing at the lake. Dog-watching is another one of my pastimes, partially by choice, partially by necessity. Seriously, for a guy to have a chance for a meaningful relationship with me, he must like dogs. They are a part of my family, and, no matter how much of a pain in the butt they can sometimes be, they're not going anywhere.Aside from being an animal lover (I like cats, too), what do I want in a partner? I like a person who doesn't take himself too seriously and isn't afraid to venture out of his comfort zone. The rest is negotiable. Something active sounds enjoyable. That doesn't mean I want to meet you for a 5K run (we can save that for another time); I just want to be actively engaged in doing something, such as miniature golf, visiting an amusement park, or even roller skating. After working all day at a desk, it's nice to move around. It also helps me relax and not be as nervous.

    I look at these profiles on here and chuckle at the fact guys won't or don't like to describe themselves but want us to respond. Then I check out the Meet Me section and all these people on there that want to meet you yet don't even bother to ***'m not going to bite, i mean this is why we are on here right, well some of us. I begin to wonder what anyone on here is even looking for or if they are all just looking for one thing. Some of your profiles state "I'm not the player or not looking for a one night stand" then when someone takes the time out to try and get to know you, you end up being just that. I was honestly on here looking for someone I could relate to and get to know. Hoping that I could find that "one". I think All I found was why I wouldn't date in the first place.
