Single mother, love spending time with friends and family, I enjoy all types of music, enjoy trying new things, and would like to find someone to spend quality time with. My ideal first date would include dinner and maybe drinks...an opportunity to get to know more about the person.

I am a single mother looking for someone to have fun with and maybe more in the future...I love the beach, I'm from the south, and I love to go out and do new things. I like sporty confident guys who know what they want. I am very strong and independent and would love to find the one for me. I am young and willing to try new things! And I am so over the messages from guys shooting lines that are sad and desperate. I've had a lot of really bad dates lately. I am not a snob nor a gold digger, but I believe in a lot of old school values and morals. And I would really like to be sought out by guys that have something going for them. Education, decent job, honesty, and open mindedness are a must...I can be quite the wild child when I'm having a good time, but not too wild. A first date can be anything...I'm easy to please...as long as there is thought put into the date it can be very simple and it can make me very happy.

Never too good at talking about myself so I will just state facts. I have tried this online thing once before. Gave up. And here I am trying it again. I figured what could it hurt? I am pretty outgoing and am quite easy to get along with. I absolutley love to travel- but of course reality doesn't allow me to just get up and go whenever I feel the urge. I prefer the warmth as opposed to this ridiculous cold, and only truly feel at peace and at home when I am very near the ocean. So eventually I do plan to move somewhere that meets those standards. I have a dog that I adore. And I am content with it just being her and me. But everybody gets lonely, and I do enjoy meeting new people. So, here I am, trying something different. Well, for a first date, going to a movie theater is a bad idea. For one- darn near pitch black so you can't even see the person, and of course you can't carry on a conversation. I think starting out with dinner is a good idea. Because worst case scenerio if all that happens is crickets chirping, at least you have the food to stuff in your mouth as an excuse to not talking. And if there is a connection where I am feeling like I am into this guy, well then it can be continued with a drink or two. I will however say, that I have started myself a handy rule when it comes to first dates. Unless we are obviously seriously connecting and can feel the spark back and forth- I generally don't feel too comfy with any touchy feely kissy kissy stuff. I DON'T KNOW YOU. Please let me get comfy with you and get to know you a smidge. But like I said, if we are connecting with electricity in the air, I have no problems with getting handsy and vice versa. ;-). Honestly- as long as we both have fun- i suppose it doesn't really matter what we do.
