How do I start this? I don't want to do the typical I don't like to talk about myself quote because ha as you can tell I'm a girl and what girl doesn't like talking about herself?!?!? This whole thing started as a joke whenever I lived in P.C. by a friend of mine but I since have decided to actually use it. Besides I figured since I am in my mid twenties and come from a small town where everyone gets married or have kids right out of high school I felt it was time to jump on the bandwagon...hahah..j/k....! Laughter is the best medicine and I laugh a lot, sometimes at the wrong times. Some people might call me picky whenever it comes to the whole dating scene but I like to call it being selective. At this point I really don't know what I definitely know what I don't want and that would be: someone with a negative attitude, I mean if you're going to get your kicks off of someone else's pain then keep going. Drama...do not need it, between being a female, school, and watching it on daytime television I definitely get my fill.After a rough few years my life is finally on track. I am currently in graduate school trying to postpone "growing up". At the moment my life is chaotic and for me to add someone to it meas a lot. My friends and family are my world and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. I have the worlds sweetest dog who is the happiest to just be in my lap or even just beside me, how could you not love something that shows you so much unconditional love. I am starting to take pole dancing classes at Art of the Catwalk to help me get back in shape and hopefully make new friends. As my mom says I guess it will be a back up for me if college doesn't work....JK... Anyways I love to meet new people and learn new things. I can be quite nerdy and watch the history channel or bio...I'm addicted to anything Hitler or Mob related, you can thank my grandfather for that, but at the same time I'm a reality tv junkie. I can't help it, oh yes and if it's from the 80's and it's a sitcom I'm there... And not to be rude but please don't message me for a hook up and if I don't reply please quit ***, you not only make me feel bad but you make yourself look desperate. So hope you learned a little bit about me and I can't wait to see what this site has in store. I love being the 'cool aunt' and I have 9 nieces and nephews. I'm a pediatric nurse and I find my work challenging and rewarding. I enjoy making people around me feel comfortable, so I'm usually the first one to tell a self deprecating joke to break the ice or loosen the tension. I love my two dogs, and my goofy cat. My favorite thing to do since I moved back to WI, is to go to my nephews high school football games. I'm that crazy aunt whistling, hollering and holding the sparkly "GO TEAM" sign. I'm looking for a guy that's trustworthy, a good man in a storm. I see families go through some pretty awful things when I am at work and that has motivated me to place the value of -sticking together through thick and thin- over all else. You need to have a strong sense of self and be able to forgive and be forgiven. I believe in being kind to one another and, as I've grown as a person, I've learned that I can not control as much of my life as I thought I could. I'm constantly trying to improve myself and look at the bigger picture, I would hope that my guy would feel that way too. Bottom line... I'm a really independent person, and honestly I'm about 90% happy on my own. I'd rather be alone my whole life than to be in a relationship that complicates me negatively or brings me down. But then there's that 10%.... which is why I'll occasionally check in on here to keep my options open. We'll see. With that said, when I do find myself with someone, I dedicate myself towards them. I live a busy, happy life... And maybe someday, someone will live that life with me. :) I'm sure we can figure something out when the time comes.
