I've been in school for quite a while now pursuing an advanced degree and am now finished and looking forward to having a social life again. I like to read, watch movies, go to sporting events (big STL Cardinals fan), play sports, spend time with my family, and visit my friends (who are scattered around the country) when I have spare time. I love TV. Some of my favorite shows are The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Psych, Bones, The Office, and Community...so pretty much I like comedies, or drama/comedy hybrids. I'm not much for outdoor activities (except sports), mainly due to allergies. I'm certainly not a woman that sits by and takes much, I'm a very independent and strong-willed person. I also have a very sarcastic sense of humor...it's a family trait ;-)I have spent my entire life in pursuit of higher education and my goals and aspirations will probably always be centered around the pursuit of knowledge and disseminating that knowledge to others. I feel like learning is something to which everyone should have a right.

I'm a really outgoing and friendly person, which loves to have fun. I love the city a lot already and I'm so glad that I came to this great place! I enjoy doing sports, especially snowboarding in the winter! I also play Basketball, go hiking and running. Although I listen to music a lot, mostly HipHop and Alternative as well as little bit R'n'B and Charts. I love to go to the beach and hang out in the sun. This is my first time being in another country and city for a longer time, but I'm sure not the last one. I definitely want to travel more afterwards. During the day I teach Kindergarten, so naturally I am a child at heart and love kids! Outside of school I love being with my family, playing/ watching sports, boating, reading and playing card games. Sports has alway been a huge part of my life, I played basketball in college. Someday I would like to expand my family. I would also LOVE to get my Masters in Reading. When it comes to music I truly listen to anything depending on the mood that I am in.
