"a realist with a touch of hopeless romantic" :-) Hmmm, about me. I love being outside. I enjoy skiing, snowboarding, camping, hiking, basically anything outdoors. I love going on spontaneous adventures. I LOVE working with kids, and most of my jobs since babysitting at 12, have been with children. I think what makes me unique is that I love to sing and be goofy, but I'm a cool, fun person to be around. I definitely know how to have fun, but also know when it's time to be serious. I am a very positive person. I always try to see the good in people and situations. I am honest, trustworthy, and very caring. I love myself. I figure, I probably should since I have to be with myself ***:-) I love getting dressed up to go out, but I also love to be lazy in jeans and a hoodie. I'm not gender-specific, in that, I don't really identify as female. I mean, I am a woman for sure. But I am me first, and I want to meet someone similar. Now for people I like to date. I like people kinda like me, but i admit i like femme girls too. I really like more androgynous girls though. I have a special place for bois and ftm boys. To be honest, I just like people for who they are. I mean, I have to be attracted to them, but its really more about personality. I like people who are also positive and outgoing. I like someone with a sense of humor, especially dry, sarcastic humor. As for music, it's my life so what can I say. I am willing to listen to anything and give it a shot. But I know what I like. I love good guitar, anything with finger-picking. I like folk, blue-grass, indie, some pop, alternative, and classic rock for sure. Not a big fan of country, but old country's not too bad.P.S. I am a grammar Nazi. So, if you don't know the difference between there, their, they're, and to, two, too, then we might not get along. And please, no shorthand. Good grammar gets you a long way in my book :-) My favorite first date would be something simple but thoughtful. Coffee date is usually best, as it gives a chance to talk and get to know one another. But I'm always down for an adventure!!

Woman. 28 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: woman. In age: 25-35
I am a Zoology PhD student at WSU. I freely admit that I am a little bit of a nerd and I like it that way. I love being active, playing sports, and being outside. Backpacking is one of my favorite things. I also enjoy cuddling up and watching a good movie or reading a good book. When I have time, I like to put on some tunes and dance while I cook. My family and friends are very important to me. I am a dog person (but I like cats too) and cannot wait for my life to become settled enough to rescue one. I have really broad tastes in music. Classic rock, folk, bluegrass, big band, and classical are some of my favorite genres (but definitely do not encompass everything). I tend to be adventurous and enjoy trying new things. I think you learn more about a person the more you interact, so a good first date should involve getting to know one another while doing something fun. The point is to keep the mood light and get to know each other in a low pressure situation. Another fun idea would be to plan a meal that we could cook together. I love having someone else in my kitchen to enjoy cooking with me, and then enjoying our creation over some good wine and conversation.

1. I enjoy the outdoors walks with or without snow shoes and hikes- Just got some backpacking gear, so grateful for REI used gear sales. I love to play games Set, Phase 10, hearts, dominoes etc. 2. I am looking to make meaningful connections. Sometimes I drink to much, eat to much, say or do the wrong thing. I am looking for someone who can live, laugh, learn, forgive and grow (hopefully with me).3. I am unique because I am not particularly good at anything but will try everything. I keep my word and am reliable.A great second date would include a U-Haul. ;)
