I just finished my Masters and the move is exciting, but I also know NO one! I have great friends down in the SD area but unfortunately, I can't take them with me (I've tried.) I'm very dedicated to my profession but I also have a lot of energy and am a huge advocate of a balanced lifestyle- I'm always doing something, even if its actively doing nothing. I love doing anything outside and am only really limited by time and/or my old decrepit body. Beyond being active I love music (especially at small venues or amphitheater/lawn style when it's nicer out), exploring, movies, learning, meeting new people and enjoying the ones that have been around for a while:)I can't help but feel like these are a dime a dozen- who doesn't love the ocean and being outside, time with friends, music and good food? I almost just said I feel like I'm writing a personals add...Then realized-I am.That was awkward. The first hang out would be something that doesn't involve a movie theater or coffee- too dark and too cliche (but I love going to the movies FYI) I'd probably say find a common interest and take it from there- anything from an arcade to exploring somewhere new.

Hey SLC!.I consider myself to be an independent girl who's a little on the shy side, but once I get to know someone I can be pretty talkative, ha ha.
